Isla Fisher has hilarious response after she and ex-husband Sacha Baron Cohen make separate appearances at Wimbledon on the same day – following THAT ‘bizarre’ tennis-themed divorce statement
Isla Fisher playfully commented on her divorce from ex-spouse Sacha Baron Cohen, as they both happened to attend Day 14 of Wimbledon on the same day.
On Sunday, the actor from Now You See Me, aged 49, visited the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club accompanied by his elder brother Daniel, to catch the men’s singles final together.
However, as she and her friends, such as actress Lily Collins, savored glasses of champagne in the Agapanthus Suite, her former partner Sacha, aged 53, could be seen conversing with a male acquaintance in different seating areas.
Or:
While she and her companions like Lily Collins were sipping champagne in the luxurious Agapanthus Suite, her ex Sacha, at 53 years old, was found engaged in conversation with a male companion in a separate section of the stands.
Island looked stunning in her tennis-themed outfit, wearing a crisp cream blazer atop a graceful pleated midi skirt.
At the high-profile gathering, she and Sacha managed to avoid any uncomfortable encounters, a feat achieved less than a month after their £120 million divorce was officially finalized on June 14.
Isla demonstrated that their relationship remained friendly, as she jokingly commented on their shared parenting experience following their Wimbledon visit, causing laughter.

Capturing an image from a TopMob article detailing their individual performances at Centre Court, the Australian actress playfully referenced Sacha Baron Cohen by asking: “Wait, who’s looking after the kids?” and tagged him with the handle @sachabaroncohen.
In 2001, Isla and Sacha got acquainted, and they decided to get married in 2010, giving birth to three kids along the way. They recently disclosed their intention to separate in 2023, which was announced last year.
By sheer chance, they chose tennis court as their stage to announce their parting ways, sharing an image where they were both dressed in identical tennis attire.
Posting the same picture on each of their Instagram Stories in April, they announced their separation with this caption: “Following a prolonged game of tennis spanning over twenty years, it’s time for us to lay down our rackets.
They, too, verified that their divorce was officially completed last month, as they both shared a concurrent announcement on their respective Instagram accounts.
‘We’ve officially ended our marriage, but we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished as a couple. Maintaining our mutual respect, we’ve chosen to stay friends and are dedicated to jointly raising our fantastic kids. We kindly request the media to uphold our children’s privacy rights.’
According to a source, following the announcement, it appears that Sacha and Isla simply wish to move forward with their lives and concentrate on their family’s health and happiness.
Previously this year, Isla confessed, “It’s been the hardest experience for me, yet it taught me a great deal about myself.

‘I never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents.’
On the concluding day of Wimbledon, the Italian tennis star, Jannik Sinner, overcame defending titlist Carlos Alcaraz in a gripping four-set match, thereby claiming his inaugural Wimbledon championship.
Five weeks ago, the Italian player saw sweet vindication when he defeated Alcaraz, the man who snatched victory from him at Roland Garros with three championship points slipping through his fingers in a grueling final match.
In the final match for women’s singles at Wimbledon, Iga Swiatek dominated Amanda Anisimova with a lopsided victory not seen since 1911.
24-year-old Swiatek overpowered Anisimova, who is also 23 years old, winning the match on Centre Court with a swift 6-0, 6-0 score within only 57 minutes.
In a span of 114 years, no other Polish athlete had achieved a double bagel score until this tournament, making it just the second occurrence in the entire history of the event.
After a heart-wrenching defeat, an emotional Anisimova momentarily stepped away from the court. However, she received comforting words from Princess Kate, who advised her to hold her head up proudly.
