At the bridal shower held in London before her wedding to Preye Crooks, Mabel dazzled everyone in a radiant white, strapless dress.

The 29-year-old British singer appeared otherworldly in a voluminous dress while rejoicing happily with her mother, Neneh Cherry, during their celebration.

The daughter of English music producer Cameron McVey and Swedish singer Neneh, who is also a songwriter, couldn’t hide her joy as she was photographed with a wide grin from ear to ear.

The artist who’s famous for “Mad Love” shared a series of photos on Instagram, captured during a beautiful garden party that took place outdoors.

‘It takes a village and ours is STRONG ❤️’ she captioned her post.

Mabel grinned while standing beside her renowned mother Neneh, aged 61, who looked stunning in a shimmering, lace-detailed turquoise dress.

The Finders Keepers singer also shared a heart-melting throwback snap of herself as a child.

The tables were beautifully decorated with stunning floral arrangements, and special guest British TV host Miquita Oliver was among those in attendance.

At the gathering, her future spouse, Preye (aged 33), was present as well. At one stage, they participated in a game where they sat facing each other, backs touching – with Mabel being one of them.

Preye serves as an A&R executive at Sony Music and is a co-founder of the Strawberries & Creem music festival. Additionally, he is the son of renowned football figure Garth Crooks, who is 67 years old and known for his work with BBC sports commentary.

In the year 2021, the couple started going out together, and they made public their engagement announcement the previous year by hosting an extravagant event. At this event, Mabel unveiled a one-of-a-kind diamond ring crafted especially for her by Jewelry Palace in Los Angeles.

Onlookers enjoyed a romantic slow dance between the happy couple, adorned by rose petals and candles, as their friends commented that the moment was truly “well-earned” and “enchanting”.

Mabel – full name Mabel Alabama-Pearl McVey – has long been surrounded by musical royalty.

Neneh Cherry, her mother, became widely recognized due to her 1989 album Raw Like Sushi. Her father, Cameron McVey, is a well-known music producer who has worked with notable groups such as Massive Attack and All Saints.

In 2017, the pop artist gained significant attention with her smash debut single “Finders Keepers.” Following this, she launched her multi-platinum album “High Expectations” in 2019. In 2020, she was honored with the Brit Award for the category of British Female Solo Artist.

Enthusiasts and companions inundated the comments on her bridal shower announcement with congratulatory messages. AJ Odudu stated, “You look stunning! Best wishes,” whereas singer Kamille expressed, “Gorgeous girl!”.
