It’s being whispered that another well-known figure may not reappear on Channel 10, following the dismissal of Jonathan LaPaglia from Survivor Australia.
Based on reports from a television source, it appears that Rodger Corser was not renewed for his position following the cancellation of the unconventional reality series “The Traitors” towards the end of 2024.
On Monday, Daily Mail Australia was informed by Channel 10 that the program will not return, following rumors suggesting the network was contemplating a revamp.
The source added that management is trimming budgets back by letting go of high-priced talent.

2022 saw the debut of The Traitors, but its run ended after just two seasons as it struggled with low viewership and strong audience disapproval leading to its cancellation.
After the network made the announcement of its cancellation back in October, I have sadly had to accept that the show won’t be coming back for another season.
Corser, 52, is currently hosting Channel Nine’s hugely successful game show The Floor.
It comes after LaPaglia confirmed he lost his hosting gig on Australian Survivor last month.
The individual who’s been leading the popular series since 2016 is planning to appear for the last time during the upcoming season titled “Australia V The World,” which is scheduled to broadcast later in the year.
In an extended Instagram message, LaPaglia expressed his surprise at Channel Ten’s choice to part ways with him, a news that broke via Daily Mail Australia on Sunday.
Channel 10 officially confirmed the news in its own statement.
