Rest in peace, Team Rocket

On more than one occasion, we’ve seen voice actors associated with Team Rocket pass away. It’s important to remember Maddie Blaustein, the actress who gave life to Meowth, lost her battle against a stomach virus in 2008, and Rachel Lillis, who voiced Jessie, sadly passed away due to breast cancer in 2024.

As a devoted fan, I’ll forever cherish the unforgettable contributions of Maddes Blaustein, Rachel Lillis, and James Carter Cathcart. Their iconic voices have etched Team Rocket into our hearts, creating a legacy that echoes through generations of fans.
