  • Porsche and Almond Surfboards release a second collaboration inspired by the 1972 911 Carrera RS 2.7
  • Includes 72 limited-edition 6’ swallowtail surfboards and a California-inspired apparel capsule
  • Collection launches July 2025 online, in select Porsche centers and at Almond’s Costa Mesa flagship

Porsche has teamed up once more with Almond Surfboards from California to create a second limited-edition collection. This time, they’ve taken design cues from the legendary 1972 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7. The lineup features a unique, winged swallowtail surfboard measuring 6 feet, crafted in California and coated in Grand Prix White with optional racing stripes in Blue, Red, or Green – reminiscent of the original RS color schemes. A total of 72 boards will be manufactured, each priced at $3,000 USD.

This collaboration extends beyond just the surfboard, offering a collection of relaxed clothing and accessories inspired by Southern California’s surf culture and Porsche performance. The lineup consists of items like t-shirts ($75 USD), caps ($45 USD), a faded blue sweatshirt ($155), beach towels, swim shorts, canvas bags, handmade surf flags, and various collectibles such as a sticker set, model car, and more. The entire collection reflects the philosophy: “One Fin and Air-Cooled Engines.

“Karsten von Engeln, President & CEO of Porsche Design of America, remarked that the Carrera RS 2.7 is one of the most revered 911 models ever made. He believes this collaboration perfectly embodies its legendary essence. The collection can be purchased now via the Porsche Online Shop, Porsche Design stores, certain Porsche dealerships, and Almond’s flagship store in Costa Mesa.”
