Kelly Osbourne reveals TRUTH behind parents Sharon and Ozzy’s ‘suicide pact’
I’ve shed light on the actual story behind the ‘suicide pact‘ rumor that circulated about my parents, Ozzy and Sharon, a while ago.
Or:
In an open discussion, I’ve uncovered the facts surrounding the alleged ‘suicide pact’ involving my beloved parents, Ozzy and Sharon, which surfaced years back.
40-year-old TV host, who just got engaged to partner Sid Wilson this month, took to her Instagram Stories on a recent Friday to clarify rumors and denounce allegations suggesting that her famous musician father is near death.
2023 saw Sharon expressing during The Osbournes podcast that euthanasia remained a consideration for her and Ozzy, the Crazy Train singer, and she pondered, “Will we have to endure suffering?
Previously, the subject has been discussed on multiple occasions, and Ozzy mentioned back in 2014 that he would consider physician-assisted suicide as an option if he faced a life-threatening illness.
In a recently released video, Kelly conveyed, ‘Today, I’m unsure which side of the bed I awoke from, but it feels like I’ve woken up with a combative spirit determined to take on challenges.’
I vehemently put a stop to the false rumors circulating about my parents supposedly entering into a suicide pact. Frankly, it was just an attention-grabbing comment my mom made once, and my father is most certainly alive and well. So, please, let’s put an end to these baseless speculations.

In a different clip, Kelly mentioned a popular AI video featuring her father expressing his feelings about being near the end of his life.
A video circulating on social media is claimed to feature my father, and I believe it’s an AI creation,” the mother shared.
‘The voice sounds like David Attenborough’s, or similar to my father’s, and it begins, “I can tell I’m going to die. I don’t require a doctor to confirm that for me.”‘
Osbourne took a moment before exclaiming, “What on earth possesses you to create such a video? This man isn’t even close to dying!
I affirmed, ‘Indeed, he’s battling Parkinson’s, and his mobility has significantly changed from what it once was. However, let me clarify, he’s certainly not at the point of giving up or nearing the end. It seems there may be some confusion on your part.’
Kelly also provided a screenshot as an illustration of comment moderation on social networking sites like this: “Share with us that Ozzy will soon pass away, but don’t explicitly say so.
Just last week, in Birmingham, Ozzy performed what appears to be his last live concert, as he continues his struggle against Parkinson’s, a condition he was first diagnosed with back in 2003.
Previously on The Osbournes podcast, their son Jack mentioned a hypothetical “agreement for mutual suicide” that both Ozzy and Sharon had discussed.

When he enquired about the continued intention towards euthanasia between them, his mother countered by questioning whether they were going to endure suffering.
Later on, Jack expressed, “Haven’t we already endured enough?” Following this, Sharon shared her perspective on the topic.
‘Indeed, we can all experience pain, but I prefer to avoid additional physical discomfort since mental distress is already challenging enough. It’s better to deal with one type at a time. So, let’s focus on mental wellness first.’
As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but ask my mom during that very podcast episode, ‘But isn’t there a chance that you might just make it through?’
The celebrity of British origin expressed, ‘Imagine being alive but unable to clean yourself, constantly having accidents, and struggling with eating. That’s the reality for many.’
During her interview with The Mirror in 2007, the same subject had already been discussed, as this was around the time she published her autobiography entitled “Survivor: My Story – The Next Chapter.
She expressed, ‘Ozzy and I have absolutely come to the same decision.
We are completely convinced about euthanasia and have made arrangements to seek assisted suicide at a facility in Switzerland should either of us face a brain-affecting illness. If either Ozzy or I were to develop Alzheimer’s, then our decision would be to end our lives.

In simpler terms, the former contestant of The X Factor continued by saying, ‘We sat down with the children at the kitchen table, shared our plans with them, and everyone consented to move forward with them.’
From 2002 onwards, when my father reentered my life, until his passing in July, I witnessed his struggles every day. It’s impossible for me to endure what he experienced, or subject my children to the same hardships.
She mentioned, ‘Even with a condition such as cancer, there’s an opportunity for expression. You can share your feelings, express why you’re in pain, and make it understood.’
Subsequently, she mentioned her father once more, saying, ‘However, my father declined so swiftly that he turned into little more than an empty husk – drooling, needing a diaper, and confined to a wheelchair as he failed to comprehend he could no longer walk on his own.’
‘Some say the disease is hereditary so at the first sign I want to be put out of my misery.’
The star went on to say, “‘Ozzy’ and I have instructed our attorneys to handle the necessary preparations. This helps alleviate some of our fears about parting ways and serves as a heartfelt expression of love for our children.’
Approximately ten years back, in the year 2014, Ozzy expressed to the Daily Mirror that he would consider physician-assisted death as an option when faced with a ‘critical, life-endangering illness.’
He expressed, “If I can’t continue living as I am right now, not referring to my financial situation, then I’ll be moving to Switzerland.

Speaking personally, if I find myself unable to move, even for basic tasks like getting up to use the restroom, and I’m hooked up with tubes in places they shouldn’t be and an enema in my throat, I’ve made it clear to Sharon that she should simply turn off the machine when the time comes.
‘In the unfortunate event that I suffer a stroke and become paralyzed, I prefer not to live. I’ve already made a will, and if I pass away before Sharon, she will inherit everything; in turn, it will eventually be passed on to our children.’
Over the last weekend, Ozzy performed onstage at Villa Park Stadium in Birmingham, U.K., marking his final live appearance alongside Black Sabbath.
Following enthusiastic cheers and applause from the crowd at the venue, the performer delivered a heartfelt speech.

The star, who’s had seven operations over the last five years, conveyed to the crowd that they can’t imagine my emotions.
I sat regally upon the stage, my voice echoing with every lyric I passionately sang out to the eager crowd below. With an excited shout, I declared, “What a thrill to be gracing this stage once more! The excitement begins now!
Apart from sharing the stage with original Black Sabbath bandmates, the singer additionally got the opportunity to perform a solo act that left the packed stadium breathless.
The evening became particularly special since Ozzy was surrounded by his loved ones. Notably, Kelly was present too, and her companion, Sid Wilson, took the opportunity to propose to her amidst her parents in the backstage area.
