Mother of Lord Monson’s ‘devastating snub’ to cancer-striker son

He’s had to endure two unbearable shocks – the killing, by the Kenyan police, of his older son, Alexander, and the suicide, triggered by marijuana-related psychosis, of his younger son, Rupert.

or

He’s suffered from two devastating events – the murder of his elder son, Alexander, while in custody of the Kenyan police, and the suicide of his younger son, Rupert, due to cannabis-induced psychosis.

or

He’s been through two heartbreaking incidents – the death of his older son, Alexander, at the hands of the Kenyan police, and the tragic passing of his younger son, Rupert, who was battling marijuana-induced psychosis.

All three sentences convey the same information but use different structures to make it easier for a reader to understand.

However, it’s come to light that Lord Monson, battling inoperable cancer, heart disease, and diabetes, seems to have been estranged unexpectedly by no one else but his own mother.

At a family gathering that took place last Saturday in northern Lincolnshire, which has been governed by the Monson family for generations, an incident occurred that friends referred to as a hurtful slight.

My buddy who’s close with Lord Nicholas has informed me that Emma, Lady Monson and her family have extended an invitation for you to attend their celebration, marking the 400th anniversary of the recently restored Monson Monument.

‘The monument is truly remarkable, featuring alabaster statues of Nick’s ancestors, located within the crypt of their family church. Later on, the Bishop of Lincoln conducted a service of dedication, followed by an invitation for everyone to enjoy refreshments afterwards.’

Nick wasn’t included in the event, as he only found out about it after someone contacted him to express gratitude for the invitation instead.

Regarding Monson, he chose not to respond, and unfortunately, we couldn’t get hold of his 89-year-old mother the previous day. However, it seems their primary means of contact is through Nicholas Monson’s spouse, Silvana, who resides in Brazil.

The friend mentions that they’re unsure about what led to the disagreement,” the pal notes. “Nick has had quite an unconventional life and is currently on his third marriage, which makes it surprising that they couldn’t find a way to reconcile, even for a short while.

Indeed, it’s quite unfortunate that a family known for their skills, royal ties, and glamour finds itself in such a predicament. Among Monson’s relatives are Guy Monson, an investment expert who served as a trustee for the Invictus Games, and Debbie Bismarck, wife of Count Leopold Bismarck and mother to photographer Nikolai Bismarck, who was once in a long-term relationship with Kate Moss.

‘I’ve been informed that there’s a strong intention to take Lady Monson’s views into account, but it seems that Nicholas, her oldest son, won’t be explicitly mentioned in this context.’

Phew… Harriet keeps her cool at Wills’ polo

Last month, Harriet Sperling joined the Royal Procession at Ascot for the first time, though she is not currently betrothed to Peter Phillips.

Yesterday, a nurse from the NHS made another significant stride in her relationship with the royal family. In Windsor Great Park, where the temperature reached 32 degrees Celsius, Harriet, aged 45, unfastened not just one or two, but a total of five buttons on her sleeveless white dress.

In a casual and readable style: She, along with Princess Anne’s 47-year-old son, encouraged Prince William (who turned 43 this year) during his game in the Royal Charity Cup at Guards Polo Club. Interestingly, although their home, Adelaide Cottage, is located within Windsor, William’s wife, Catherine, was not present for the match.

Kate’s university ex is a double for Roger Federer

This weekend, it’s anticipated that the Princess of Wales will award the trophies at Wimbledon. However, it’s worth noting that her former boyfriend, Rupert Finch, previously paid a visit to the All England Club. Intriguingly, he bears a striking resemblance to the renowned tennis player, Roger Federer.

One person pointing out similarities between lawyer Finch and the Swiss legend is his wife, Lady Natasha Rufis-Isaacs, who is the daughter of the Marquess of Reading.

In a playful post accompanied by a photo, Lady Natasha, aged 42, humorously remarked online about spending time with Roger Federer on the Centre Court, hinting at a past connection with Andy Finch, 46, who was once linked to Catherine prior to her relationship with Prince William at St Andrews University.

In 2023, the 43-year-old princess developed a deep appreciation for Roger Federer, who is also 43. They formed a strong connection while seated together in the Royal Box that year.

The smart set’s talking about… Earl heir’s ‘party girl’ fiancee

As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news that’s been buzzing in high society circles this summer: The heir apparent of the Earl of Wemyss and March, Dick, aged 40, has announced his engagement! His beloved, Georgie Thomas, is an energetic graduate from St Mary’s Calne – the prestigious Wiltshire girls’ school that once played host to the lively Jade Jagger before her spirited escapades led to her departure. This upcoming union promises to be a truly captivating event!

A well-wisher tells me that Georgie is known as quite the social butterfly. Let’s see if she can match the energetic pace of Dick’s family. Lady Mary Charteris, aged 38, is indeed a dynamic performer. After starting her career as a model, she transitioned into DJing and now forms part of the band The Big Pink, having wed its lead singer Robbie Furze in 2012 at Stanway, an exquisitely beautiful Jacobean manor house belonging to her family in Gloucestershire. This magnificent estate is home to a fountain that soars to over 300ft – the tallest in all of Britain.

On Dick’s special occasion, his friends might suggest he try an unusual activity that his father and stepmother are fond of – a procedure known as trepanning, which involves drilling into the skull. However, as a lawyer, Dick has yet to follow in their footsteps. A daring stag night adventure, maybe?

Porn baron’s £100m heir lashes ‘worst’ mayor Sadiq Khan

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I should share an intriguing part of my family history. My father, Paul Raymond, was renowned for unveiling captivating talents such as Bonnie Bell the Ding Dong Girl, who graced his iconic strip club, the Revuebar in the bustling district of Soho. Yet, I find myself pondering whether my own journey in London’s West End is approaching its end.

I inquire since the amiable Howard, aged 65, who received a 20% share of his father’s property empire, has consented with the fellow directors at Raymond Estates to initiate voluntary liquidation for the company, despite it possessing assets close to £100 million.

Howard shares with me that he’s trying to make his lifestyle more flexible, implying that he is preparing for potential uncertainties in both the nation’s and specifically London’s near-term prospects.

The Labour Party’s Mayor, Sadiq Khan, humorously notes that he excels at posing for Instagram photos, but beyond that, he might not be doing a great job. In fact, some people might argue that he is one of the worst mayors London has ever had.

Furthermore, Howard, the uncle of Fawn and India Rose Raymond (daughters of Howard’s late sister Debbie), expresses that while the previous administration was troublesome, he believes the current situation is approximately ten times as difficult.

He’s considering approximately five locations overseas, to determine if any of them might become his future residence.

Emily Clarkson: My ADHD hell

Emily, Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter, has disclosed that she’s been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She admitted that her symptoms almost led to the breakdown of her marriage.

As a person living with ADHD, I’ve reached a point where I can confidently say so after receiving multiple professional opinions. One person even asked me, “Isn’t it kind of you to have that condition?” In a conversation with my parents, I responded honestly, “Well, no.

Reflecting on a past vacation that was especially challenging due to my health issues, I can’t help but remember the tension we experienced. At times, I behaved irrationally, and it felt as if I had lost touch with reality. I was like a madwoman, almost driving us to the brink of separation.

Owzat! Stuart Broad breaks new boundary

Legendary cricketer Stuart Broad is excelling in his new venture, the public house business. Together with his former teammate Harry Gurney, they have successfully formed a profitable partnership in managing two pubs.

As an overly enthusiastic admirer, I’m thrilled to share that they’ve reported a significant increase in turnover, exceeding 10 percent, and there’s a new pub on the horizon – our third! Yet, Gurney and Broad, fresh from the joyous arrival of their little bundle of joy, Liliana, with the wonderful Mollie King by his side, remain steadfastly focused and humble. They aren’t resting on their laurels; instead, they continue to strive for even greater success.

Harry notes that the budget has significantly impacted local pubs. Fortunately for us, since our establishment caters to a higher-end clientele, we’ve managed to shift some of the increased costs onto our customers.

Actor Robert Powell, known for playing Jesus of Nazareth, finds himself embroiled in a contentious situation due to a pile-up of electric hire bicycles that have been left at his doorstep.

The actor, aged 81 and residing in Highgate, north London with his wife Babs, states that there are two elderly individuals, both in their eighties, who are currently in grave danger of losing their lives.

Every time I see those bikes propped up against our house, I can’t help but feel an ounce of fear gripping my heart. One wrong move, one tiny spark, and they might go off like a bomb! I swear, I think I might have a heart attack just moving them.

Without any direct involvement from a higher power, Camden Council states: ‘We’re exercising our authority to move this bay.’

Actor Nigel Havers, famously known for making smoothies on screen, expresses a critical opinion towards his American counterparts. He states, “American actors are quite distinct from British ones,” asserts the star of ‘Chariots of Fire’, aged 73.

They’re quite unapproachable. On an English film set, there’s plenty of laughter and conversation, but in America, the atmosphere is intensely competitive.

‘They think you might get a job they want, but I don’t give a toss what I do or don’t get.’

In the ’80s, as a member of the pop duo Bros, Matthew Goss serenaded throngs of excited young women. The following week, he is scheduled to perform before Princess Anne at Horse Guards Parade in London.

56-year-old Goss is set to perform in a grand military musical production titled “Heroes,” an event arranged by the charity associated with the Household Division.

Matt, who has a grandparent who was a World War II gunner, expresses that true appreciation lies in helping [veterans] not only during conflicts but also after they return home. The idea that those who have served our nation face difficulties upon their return gnaws at him like a knife in his ribs.
