Surprisingly excellent crime drama “Ballard” has taken the top position on Prime Video, only a few days following its debut.
The spinoff titled both “Bosch” and “Bosch: Legacy” premiered on the streaming platform on July 9, focusing on the narrative of Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q), who heads up a cold-case unit at the LAPD. She is both “resolute” and “compassionate.
Ballard seeks assistance from her buddy, Harry Bosch (played by Titus Welliver), as she delves into a secretive scheme within the LAPD, pursuing the reality while facing both emotional turmoil and perilous hazards on her journey.
The entire 10-episode series can be streamed immediately, placing it at the number one position in the UK streaming rankings, surpassing popular soaps like “Neighbours” and “Heads of State,” which features John Cena and Idris Elba.
The series was developed by both Michael Alaimo and Michael Connelly; it’s important to note that Connelly authored the books upon which the series is adapted.
Currently, the show has received a flawless score of 100% appreciation from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, following 9 reviews.
In a sea of shows that might have blended together, “Bosch” stands out, with “Ballard” skillfully navigating the waves while also adding its unique flair, creating an excited buzz along the way, as noted by Collider.
