If you haven’t heard yet, Foundation: Galactic Frontier is a science fiction strategy game inspired by the acclaimed Hugo Award-winning Foundation series written by Isaac Asimov. This game was developed jointly by FunPlus’s studio in Chengdu and Skydance, and it immerses players in an RPG-style narrative that faithfully recreates Asimov’s universe.

In this game, you assume the role of a space trader, commanding a fleet while engaging with multiple factions. You’ll have opportunities to work together with other players to fend off cosmic perils. Additionally, you’ll need to oversee your ship’s cabins and ensure efficient operation to gather essential resources.

Large-scale battles, original ships, and pre-launch rewards

I was fortunate enough to participate in the beta testing phase, and I can’t wait for the official release. I also hope it becomes available globally on Android devices as soon as possible. I’m really looking forward to re-engaging with my custom spaceships once again, given that they were conceptualized by veterans from both the Star Wars and Fallout franchises.

The space-themed game, Galactic Frontier: Foundation, is scheduled for release on iOS devices later this year, and you can pre-register for it through the App Store. As per the listing on the App Store, the game is slated to go live on October 21, 2025. Regarding the Android global launch, no details have been shared yet, and currently, it’s available in certain regions only.
