Oasis’ kids prove they’re closer than ever as Liam and Noel Gallagher’s offspring reunite for ‘pic of the century’ ahead of fathers’ first Manchester show

The children of Liam and Noel Gallagher demonstrated their strong bond by coming together once more, taking a photograph that could be labeled as the “picture of the century,” prior to their fathers’ initial concert in Manchester.

On Friday at Heaton Park, Liam’s youngest child, Gene (age 24), posted a picture to Instagram, where they could be seen embracing each other backstage.

Additionally present were his brother John Lennon (aged 25), as well as John’s daughter Anais (also 25), along with John’s sons Donovan (17 years old) and Sonny (14 years old).

Gene captioned the photo: ‘Pic of the century, alright? now everyone els (sic) f**k off’.’

Notably missing from the picture was Liam’s daughter, Molly, 27. 

Liam shares Gene with Nicole Appleton and later welcomed Lennon with Patsy Kensit. 

Noel divides Anais between Meg Mathews and Sara MacDonald, while Sonny, aged 15, and Donovan, aged 18, share custody with Sara MacDonald as well.

At the moment, Liam is betrothed to Debbie Gwyther and they’ve been a couple since 2013. Concurrently, Noel is seeing Sally Mash.

Gene is a member of unsigned band Villanelle and they supported Noel on his last solo tour. 

For several years, he’s been composing songs, and he remembers his renowned father urging him to join the music world – under the stipulation that he was talented enough.

He mentioned that he had the opportunity to open for his father earlier last year, provided he performed well, as he would be disappointed if his performance fell short.

On Friday, Oasis is slated to perform before a crowd of 80,000 people in their hometown of Manchester, following the commencement of their global reunion tour in Cardiff last week.

At Heaton Park, which spans over 600 acres in Bury and Manchester, you’ll find concerts that are uniquely set apart from other UK shows. Unlike events held at the Principality Stadium, Wembley, or Murrayfield (which are all stadiums), these shows take place outside of any stadium.

People began lining up well ahead of time, even before the entrance to Heaton Park was open, and it turned out that passengers had to endure a 90-minute wait for trams at Victoria Station.

Individuals were spotted setting up camps or resting in groups along the roadside, surrounded by an ocean of portable chairs and sun hats, as they waited their turn in line.

In Manchester, where temperatures reached 28 degrees, overheated crowds could be spotted waving fans or seeking shade beneath umbrellas.

Excited fans were seen gathering in huge crowds as they awaited the gates opening for the show. 

Overflowing with excitement, I couldn’t believe my luck when they opened the gates early! With a heart full of gratitude, I managed to secure a prime spot in the park, an astounding five hours before the band even stepped onto the stage. What a dream come true for this dedicated fan!

In the heart of the city, I found myself among fellow music enthusiasts, all eagerly anticipating a night filled with soulful melodies. However, as the sun began to set and the concert neared, we were met with an unexpected challenge: a 90-minute wait for trams. This delay had many of us expressing our concerns about X, sharing our thoughts on how this situation could be improved for future events.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’d advise you to consider alternative means of transportation when visiting Heaton Park from Victoria Station. The local transport team suggests either arranging a taxi ride or opting for a leisurely stroll to reach your destination. Enjoy the journey!
