Brooklyn Beckham UNFOLLOWS brothers Cruz after Romeo despite appearing to offer an olive branch in family feud with sweet birthday tribute to sister Harper

Brooklyn Beckham recently stopped following his brothers Cruz and Romeo on social media, even though he seemed to extend an olive branch in a birthday tribute post for sister Harper during their ongoing family dispute.

As the elder brother of Harper, who just celebrated her 14th birthday, I was compelled to express my admiration for her. In an unexpected gesture, amidst the chatter about our relationship, I chose to connect with my sibling this time around.

It seems that since Brooklyn made the surprising choice to stop following his brother Cruz on social media, their bond has become strained or worsened.

Over the past few months, Brooklyn and Romeo have experienced some tension in their relationship due to rumors that his former girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, is the cause of their disputes.

On June 16, Kim made clear that her relationship with the oldest Beckham son was strictly a friendly one.

On his birthday, Brooklyn honored Harper for the first time in a public setting since he had paid tribute to his grandmother Sandra on June 26th. Remarkably, this was also his first family engagement following his decision to stay quiet and avoid participating in his father’s 50th birthday celebration earlier that month.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining my beloved family matriarch, Victoria, and my brother Romeo in extending our heartfelt tributes as we marked the special occasion of Harper’s 14th birthday. Later on, my eldest sibling, Brooklyn, also joined us in celebrating her milestone.

In response to the supposed tension mentioned, both Brooklyn and his spouse Nicola chose not to include their parents in a joint social media post, although the picture was captured during Victoria’s Paris Fashion Week event in September.

On what could have potentially escalated tensions between David, Victoria, and our oldest child, I decided to step in and bridge the gap instead. My heartfelt message arrived just prior to David extending his best wishes for my special day.

Sources connected with the family have informed TopMob that Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola, aged 30, seem to have pulled away from Harper following their visit to London in May. Despite flying into London very close to their family’s residence in Holland Park for a Moncler clothing brand ad shoot, they apparently didn’t stop by to see Harper.

To honor her daughter, a 51-year-old fashion designer, posted numerous photos of her on Instagram that spanned through the years. This action served to highlight once more the void left by Brooklyn, who is reportedly estranged due to disagreements with his actress spouse.

In addition to her post, Victoria expressed: “Happy Birthday to my universe! You are my all, and I’m incredibly proud of the strong, self-assured, compassionate, and gifted young woman you’re growing into.

I’m incredibly fortunate to consider you my best friend, and it feels like I’ve won the lottery being able to be your mommy. We adore you beyond words! Have a wonderful time on this special day of yours!! ❤️ Smooches @davidbeckham xxx.

The pictures featured a sweet image of Harper wearing a pink gown and tights, as well as another shot where she sat on a motorbike with her dad David.

In addition, Victoria shared a picture of herself holding Harper as a toddler and another one depicting her on the sandy beach with the words, ‘I love mommy and daddy’, written there.

Another shot featured David tenderly holding his daughter as an infant, along with a charming video of her harmonizing to the popular tune “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen.

Romeo, who is 22 years old, was the eldest among siblings when he extended his warm greetings to Harper. He did this by posting a picture of them both at an occasion they attended together.

He wrote: ‘Happy 14th to the most amazing human there is, love you always and forever.’  

In a surprising turn of events, it was Cruz Beckham’s girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, who preceded Romeo and his other siblings in sending a heartfelt message to Harper, before they did.

‘Happy sweet 14th birthday, my lovely girl!’

Subsequently, she posted another picture of the duo behind the scenes during Victoria’s Fashion Week event in Paris, which took place in September the previous year.

Cruz also shared a sweet snap with his sister to mark the day.  

David and Victoria were unsure if Brooklyn, whom Harper admired greatly since childhood, would reach out to her via private messages or public posts on Instagram, as they had no contact with him.

Tensions persist, having escalated over the last few weeks through a string of remarks and barbs, primarily from the side of Nicola and Brooklyn.

On Wednesday, hopeful cook Brooklyn posted a cooking video with music, expressing feelings of initially lacking the courage to express himself, but now finding empowerment – subtly yet assertively communicating this message.

On that very same day, Nicola paid an unusual homage to her father-in-law David by donning a duplicate of the famous soccer shorts he wore during his England debut in the 90s while they were all aboard their luxurious yacht.

During her trip to St Tropez over the holidays, she didn’t hesitate to showcase her strong familial ties by posting heartfelt Instagram messages about her siblings on Monday.

Nicola persisted in expressing public appreciation and admiration for her wealthy relatives on social media platforms, even during the disagreement within her spouse’s family.

The actress posted a collection of photos on Instagram, expressing affection for her father, billionaire Nelson Peltz, and humorously referring to her Labubu toys as her family.

After they both posted pictures from Nelson’s family birthday party on social media, it was noticeable that the festivities they had ignored in favor of David’s recent birthday bore a striking resemblance.

In the heat of the ongoing dispute, Romeo intervened by delivering a poignant message emphasizing the importance of cherishing those who love us, and he underscored that life is too precious not to express our feelings for those we hold dear.

As Nicola enjoys a joyful life with her loved ones, Brooklyn jeopardizes the strong connection he shares with his sister Harper by stealing attention from her birthday celebration.

If Brooklyn doesn’t reach out, friends of the Beckhams anticipate that it will mark a significant escalation in their ongoing feud. The conflict deepened when the couple failed to attend any of David’s 50th birthday celebrations, which spanned from late March to early May.

It was reported that Brooklyn and Harper were once inseparable. He cherished her, and I believe that feeling persists, but there’s an issue: Brooklyn tends to overlook family birthday celebrations these days.

It’d be heartbreaking for Harper if he doesn’t reach out to her. After all, she’s blameless in this situation, as young as 13 years old, making her the victim.

‘Harper’s birthday has always been a joyful occasion, given her cherished status as our beloved little girl. However, this year presents a challenging situation.’

At the age of twelve, Brooklyn had already become a significant figure in Harper’s life. It’s undoubtedly heartbreaking for her that their relationship has been strained due to the rift between David and Victoria, causing them to be apart.

‘David and Victoria very much blame Nicola for all of this but hopefully Brooklyn will see sense.

Although Harper hasn’t created her own Instagram account just yet, her family often tags her in their posts using the hashtag #HarperSeven.

Initially in her connection with Brooklyn, Nicola appeared to establish a robust relationship with Harper. Over time, the actress assumed the role of a protective older sibling towards the young girl, who was reportedly smitten by her affection.

However, the pair, who exchanged vows at a £76million Florida mansion belonging to her family in April 2022, have reportedly cut ties with Sir David and Lady Beckham. They hold the perspective that she wields significant influence over Brooklyn.

Posh (Victoria Beckham) and Becks (David Beckham) were very upset because their family, particularly Harper, didn’t get in touch with them when they came to London only a few weeks after David’s birthday.

In that moment, I too felt a pang of regret for not having reached out to the 19-year-old Cruz, as at that time, there had never been a disagreement between us and Brooklyn.

Since then the singer has very much come out on his parents’ side amid the rift.

Although he had overlooked his father’s birthday and mother Victoria’s birthday in April, Brooklyn did post a birthday message for footballer’s mother Sandra on Instagram recently, which was two weeks ago.

However, Victoria was devastated when he didn’t do the same for her father Tony back in May.

Last week, questions arose about whether Nicola was exerting influence over Brooklyn following her posts showing her family and Brooklyn celebrating Nelson’s 83rd birthday during their trip in Europe.

Yet she hit back by ‘liking’ a fan’s comment that suggested Brooklyn had made his own decision. 

‘It’s ridiculous to see people discussing unfounded claims that someone is controlling a MATURE individual. He himself is responsible for his choices, so let him decide and cease the habit of blaming women for all issues.’

In the midst of their growing disagreement, they didn’t publicly celebrate David’s significant milestone of turning 50 on May 8.

David and Victoria’s 26th wedding anniversary went unacknowledged, even though the ex-Manchester United and England soccer player made a reference to Brooklyn in one of his own posts.

Previously, David expressed gratitude towards his wife Victoria for their ‘lovely offspring’, as they both acknowledged their absent son Brooklyn during their celebration of their anniversary on July 4th.

A well-known former soccer player, who has two sons, Romeo (age 20) and Cruz (age 22), with his ex-Spice Girl partner, posted a collection of old photos depicting joyful family moments from their past.

In celebration of Victoria, affectionately known as Lady Beckham after his Knighthood, he penned: “Today marks 26 years since you said ‘Yes’ to me. Happy Anniversary! I am grateful for the wonderful children we have created and the life we’ve built together.

He went on to tag his children including estranged son Brooklyn.

Victoria, aged 51, additionally mentioned her oldest son within her post, writing: ‘Another year, another page added to the chronicles of our loving tale.’

I’m incredibly proud of the lovely family and life we’ve created together. You, along with our four amazing kids, make my life complete. I adore you immensely, @davidbeckham. Cheers to 26 wonderful years!

Although it seems like an olive branch has been extended, insiders speculate that Brooklyn might not attend when Harper celebrates his 14th birthday.

As a lifestyle expert, I find myself reflecting on the recent speculation surrounding the relationship between a young man, presumably himself an accomplished figure, and his parents – particularly his mother, who was once a beloved member of the Spice Girls. It all started when it seemed unusually quiet from him on the occasion of her birthday, a stark departure from his habitual outpouring of affectionate posts about her.

In contrast, neither the previous photographer nor his spouse failed to wish Victoria a happy 51st birthday, whereas David, Romeo, and Cruz took to posting affectionate messages instead.

In addition to ignoring his father David’s birthday on social media, it’s worth noting that he was also absent from all events marking his 50th birthday, such as the boys’ fishing trip and other celebrations.

Although they were in London during that time, neither Brooklyn nor Nicola managed to make it to the grand family gathering at the Beckhams’ house in Cotswolds, nor the picturesque vacation in France, nor a dining experience at Core restaurant in Notting Hill.

Last month, it was allegedly communicated by Brooklyn that he desires no communication with his well-known relatives, marking another heartbreaking twist in their persistent dispute.

It appears that, as per recent accounts, the oldest son of the Beckham family has not been in contact with his family since the announcement of his father David receiving a knighthood last month. Instead, he found out about this news like everyone else, through the media.

A confidant of Brooklyn clarified to the publication: “It’s important to emphasize David Beckham’s well-deserved recognition.” Meanwhile, another source close to Brooklyn disputed the allegations, telling TopMob, “This appears to be another calculated effort to twist the truth, and it merely serves to divert attention from this honor being given to Brooklyn’s father.
