Sex And The City star looks UNRECOGNIZABLE as she attends Sun Valley ‘billionaires’ summer camp’

This week, a well-known actress from Sex and the City appeared dramatically altered at the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference, often referred to as the “billionaire’s summer camp.

At the private gathering, the actress was also present alongside famous personalities, industry professionals from media and business fields like Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, and Neal Mohan, the head of YouTube.

The 79-yearold was seen arriving to the venue on Wednesday while being escorted on a golf cart.

In a relaxed, everyday style, the legendary figure from Hollywood – famously recognized for her starring role on Murphy Brown – donned a pair of blue jeans and a sleek black coat.

Can you guess who she is?

She is Candice Bergen.

To finish off his daily attire, the seasoned Hollywood figure donned a relaxed pair of sneakers and added stylish sunglasses to his ensemble.

Bergen’s blonde locks were parted to the side and flowed down past her shoulders in light waves.

Every year, Candice is well-acquainted with attending the financial conference held in the scenic mountain town of Sun Valley, Idaho.

The conference is held each year during the month of July – and was first launched back in 1983.

The actress has previously made appearances at the star-studded event, such as last year in 2024.

On Wednesday, I had the pleasure of spotting some high-profile leaders in their respective fields. Among them were Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Walmart CEO Doug McMillon, and Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI.

Bergen hails from a family deeply immersed in the entertainment world; her father, the late Edgar, was both a comedian and ventriloquist, while her mother, Frances, was an accomplished actress.

In a conversation with Interview Magazine back in 2015, the star looked back on her childhood experiences and mentioned that it was common for celebrities to drop by her family home during her upbringing.

At that point, she mentioned it was quite ordinary, but considering Walt Disney was a close relative’s acquaintance, there was a miniature train track erected in his backyard.

Later on, Bergen recalled, ‘At our family gatherings… I distinctly remember Rex Harrison crooning tunes at the piano and Fred Astaire gracefully dancing with numerous women.’

The Reagans were longtime, cherished companions. Back then, the neighborhood was vibrant and carefree, as everyone genuinely enjoyed themselves. There wasn’t the same level of formality that exists today.

In the late ’60s, just like her parents did before her, Candice embarked on an acting journey that led her to appear in the classic war movie “The Sand Pebbles” released in 1966.

In the ’70s, she kept showing up in various projects, and she landed a part in the film “Starting Over” (1979), a role that even netted her an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

From 1988 onwards, Murphy Brown’s leading role was played by Candice Bergen. This performance not only gained her five Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe trophies, but it also made her a household name.

In an interview with Glamour, she discussed her decision to decline another Emmy nomination following her fifth victory for her TV series role.

Absolutely! When I clinched my fifth victory, I could sense a shift in the atmosphere at home. The crowd seemed to draw back slightly, and I found myself thinking, “This is plenty for now.

In the popular TV show, Sex and the City, Candice made an appearance, portraying the character of Enid Frick, a Vogue editor.

In conversation with the outlet, she openly acknowledged that she had never seen a single episode of the HBO series, not even those where she herself made an appearance.

Candice admitted she’s never seen one. When asked if this was correct, she just replied affirmatively with a simple ‘Yes.’

Apart from Boston Legal, she additionally acted in other TV series. In movies too, her roles spanned from Miss Congeniality and Sweet Home Alabama to Bride Wars and Book Club.

In February of this year, Marshall Rose, Candice’s spouse, lost his life at the age of 88 as a result of difficulties related to Parkinson’s disease.

She tied the knot with the real estate magnate in 2000 during a ceremony in the state of New York.

According to a New York Times obituary, I passed away tranquilly at home on the morning of February 15, enveloped by my cherished ones.

The obituary further stated that he passed on his enduring legacy of profound compassion, unyielding determination, and fervent support for the Knicks, which his family continues to uphold.

His intelligence, fortitude, and kind-heartedness will long be cherished by the multitudes who felt his impact.

In a previous chat with Interview Magazine, she shared some details about her union with Rose.

I’m not extremely goal-oriented, but I appreciate opportunities that spark my interest, fit well with my schedule, and allow me to be away from my husband for no longer than a week or two at a time. That’s about the extent of what I desire.

In 1980, Bergen tied the knot with renowned French film director, Louis Malle, and remained together until his passing at the age of 63 in 1995 after fighting cancer for some time.

The pair welcomed a daughter named Chloe in 1985.
