In addition to the standard troops, you’ll find formidable structures within Clash Royale as well. These buildings can be strategically placed in the battlefield to bolster your defenses or launch an attack from them.
If you’re considering incorporating them into your game deck, this tier list will prove extremely useful. Within it, we’ve arranged every building card from Clash Royale in order of their effectiveness, starting with the best and ending with the least effective. Utilize these rankings to make the most advantageous selections for your decks!
All Buildings in Clash Royale, Ranked
As a dedicated player in Clash Royale, I’ve taken a close look at the 13 structures we have now, considering their unique abilities, their strength within the current game strategy (meta), and their versatility in various situations.

The ranking starts with the top category called S-tier. Any card placed here is a fantastic choice for any deck. As we proceed further down the list, these cards become less effective. At the end of the scale lies the F-tier, where you’ll find what might be the least effective building in the game.
You can find a full overview of our building tier list below:
| Tier | Cards |
| S | Inferno Tower and Bomb Tower |
| A | Cannon, Mortar, and Tesla |
| B | Goblin Cage, Goblin Hut, Tombstone, and Elixir Collector |
| C | Barbarian Hut, Furnace, and Goblin Drill |
| F | X-Bow |
If any new structures are incorporated into the game or if there’s a significant change in the gameplay dynamics (meta), we’ll adjust the rankings accordingly.
Best Buildings in Clash Royale

Currently, the strongest structures in Clash Royale are the Bomb Tower and the Inferno Tower.
As a strategy enthusiast, I find the Bomb Tower an exceptional fortification in my defensive arsenal. This structure packs a punch, capable of obliterating vast swathes on the battlefield – perfect for dealing with pesky hordes such as the Skeleton Army or Goblins. What’s more, when it meets its end, it unleashes massive area-of-effect damage, making even the most audacious invasions think twice before proceeding!
Instead, let me rephrase that for you: Conversely, the Inferno Tower excels in dealing with units having high health points, like P.E.K.K.A.’s or Mega Knights. It’s an excellent choice if your deck has trouble handling tanky troops.
Worst Buildings in Clash Royale
The worst building in Clash Royale is the X-Bow.
It’s quite pricey and takes 3.5 seconds to be deployed, making the X-Bow a bit sluggish in battles. Deploying it alone can leave it exposed, so it’s best to place it behind other troops for protection. Given the fast pace of the game, this vulnerability makes the X-Bow less effective within the current strategic landscape.
