Paul McCartney announces new U.S. arena tour, his first since 2022

Paul McCartney is hitting the road for his first North American tour since 2022.

Following a swift and exhilarating performance at the compact Bowery Ballroom in New York, McCartney unveiled a fresh lineup of arena and stadium shows on Thursday. These concerts are planned to cover much of the United States, however, Los Angeles is not included in the immediate schedule.

The tour begins by setting foot first in Southern California, specifically at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert on September 29. From there, it proceeds to Las Vegas and other destinations.

Could ‘Now and Then’ by The Beatles win Record of the Year? Is this prize important for the academy, or could it indicate a comeback of 60s-70s rock music?)

You can purchase presale tickets for McCartney’s event starting July 15 at 10 a.m., if you register on his website. Tickets will also be available for general sale from July 18 onwards.

The tour is part of his extended “Got Back” series, encompassing songs from his entire career, including those from The Beatles, Wings, and his solo work.

More recently, McCartney received a Grammy award for best rock performance for the song “Now and Then,” often referred to as the last official Beatles track. This track was reconstructed using advanced mixing techniques from original demo recordings.
