Skills

Note: Assume all skills are level 10

Skill 1: Survival

Triggers during use of Burst Skill, its impact alters based on the number of activations:

* First activation: Boosts maximum HP by 10.03% continuously.
* Second activation: Boosts maximum HP by 20.06% continuously (stacking with the first activation’s effect).
* Third activation: Boosts maximum HP by 57.76% continuously (stacking with the previous activations’ effects).

A talent that significantly enhances her Health Points (HP) permanently, making her incredibly durable and providing a substantial attack boost through Skill 2. To fully utilize her potential, you would require a total of five consecutive powerful attacks, given that the first one is from her and there’s cooldown reduction in your team. This process would approximately take about 1 minute to activate her abilities fully.

However, it’s important to note that her burst damage doesn’t factor in her current HP stack at the moment. Instead, four bursts are needed to fully leverage her kit, which means it takes around 1 minute and 20 seconds for her to reach full effectiveness. We’ll delve deeper into this aspect in the Burst section.

One notable feature about her is that her buff increases her maximum health, allowing her to recover health whenever she bursts, up to three times. However, once her maximum health stacks are reached, subsequent bursts will not result in further health regeneration. What makes this significant? If the current targeting system in the last solo raid remains unchanged (always/mostly focusing on the enemy with the highest attack), it means that she can function as a tank and absorb substantial damage while also healing herself (at least before reaching maximum stack levels) because she will consistently have both high health and attack. This is Nero, disintegrated.

Skill 2: Cluster Bomb

Triggers following a discharge that happens 300 times. Impacts all adversaries.

Deals damage equivalent to 167.45% of your total attack power.

Becomes active as soon as you engage in combat. Aids the caster.

Boosts your attack power by 6.16% of your maximum HP continuously.

Affects all enemies.

In the heat of the game, this is where the true power lies. With this skill, my character 2B unleashes an immense attack. Right from the get-go of a battle, this power-up stays active until the very end, granting a FINAL max HP boost. Essentially, any buffs I’ve earned during combat are instantly reflected and factored in real time.

Mini-Math Section

Reminder: You can move on quickly if you’ve previously gone through this part of the text. Additional details are included towards the conclusion.

How does 6.16% of HP converted into attack look like? Let’s do some maths ✨✨

Let’s assume we have a level 200 Synchro 2B (Nikkepedia stats)

so we have a Nikke with 711171 HP. We Multiply that with her burst at max stacks, it’ll become:

Multiplying 71,117.1 by 1.8 gives us a result of 1,280,107. If we apply her skill 2 (which is a 6.16% conversion factor) to this value, we get the ATK as:

1,280,107 * 0.0616 = 79,378.4244

So, when converted using her skill 2 values, the HP becomes approximately 79,378.42 ATK.

1,280,107 x 0.0616 = 78,854 (S2 conversion) + 17,059 (Base ATK) = 95,913 Attack!

If we compare that to Scarlet it’ll look like

Multiplied by a factor of about 1.74 greater than Scarlet’s Attack (ATK) when fully stacked, results from the equation: 25554 * [1 + (0.2315 * 5)] equals 55,132 ATK Scarlet. In simpler terms, 2B’s attack power is approximately 74% greater than that of Scarlet at max stacks!

However, be aware that the raw values might deceive you. Another crucial factor to consider when calculating the total damage of regular attacks is the normal attack percentage modifier. Notably, Scarlet boasts an exceptionally high normal attack value compared to other units, and more significantly against 2B, given she has less than half of the normal attack % of a Normal AR unit (13.65%).

Approximately 5.99% is less than 27.08%, which signifies that Scarlet requires about four and a half times fewer attacks compared to character 2B to inflict an equal amount of normal attack damage.

Oh, right. there’s another part for this skill.

This ability becomes active following approximately every 300 attacks using regular weaponry, regardless of whether they connect or miss. Given that assault rifles shoot twelve times per second, this translates to the ability activating roughly once every 25 seconds.

So, if we compare the damage proc compared to her auto attacks, it would look like

Over a period of 25 seconds, this attack deals approximately 17.97 times its normal damage, given it fires 12 times during that duration.

1797% / 167.45% (Skill 2 proc) = skill 2 proc is equal to ~9.3% of her total normal Attack damage.

Buffers

Due to her base attack modifiers being relatively weak and her attack power being boosted by her Skill 2, additional Attack buffs or supporters become less effective when used with her.

Fortunately, she gains advantages from Critical damage, Critical rate, and Maximum Health buffer units. Previously, the issue with critical hits was either low Critical damage modifiers or low Critical rate. However, a recently released unit has addressed this to some extent – it’s Mast! This unit can be effectively paired with Volume, enhancing both Critical rate and Critical Damage. Additionally, Debuffers for damage taken are useful, as well as Maximum Health buffers.

Jackal’s being placed as a possible buffer will be explained in burst section.

Mast,Noise,Novel,Quency,Jackal

Burst: Series of Attacks

This ability targets a single enemy with the highest Health Points (HP), dealing an additional 792% of your total Attack Power (ATK) and an extra 2439.36% of your final ATK as distributed damage.

The core part of her injury, or damage, stems from the fact that 2B’s attack power is incredibly high, and the multipliers on her burst are also quite significant. To put it simply, her burst typically accounts for around 50%~ of her total average damage, but this figure can fluctuate greatly depending on whether she critically hits or not during the use of her burst, significantly impacting her DPS (Damage Per Second).

In skill 1, as previously stated, 2B’s burst doesn’t consider the current Max HP stack from her skill 1; instead, it refers to the previous one. For instance, if 2B unleashes her burst during her second Max HP stack and acquires the third, the burst will be based on the second stack. This leads to a slower build-up of damage over time, resulting in lower DPS than anticipated. To clarify this mechanism, here’s a simple visual representation:

– Stack 1: Burst doesn’t take effect (as it’s not the current stack)
– Stack 2: Burst will be based on this stack (and not the next one)
– Stack 3: Now the burst can consider this stack for its effects.

Let me explain the terms I’ll use:

* When I say ‘snapshots’, it means all boosts at that moment will be kept, and any new boosts or loss of boosts won’t affect damage calculation.
* ‘FB buff’ stands for a full burst buff, meaning all damage during a full burst is increased by 1.5 times (technically, the damage formula here).
* In this context, when I mention ‘Post-FB buff’, I’m referring to the character’s Maximum Health boost from Skill 1.

In simpler terms, her initial attack isn’t influenced by a full burst, but her subsequent attack is. Also, her skill 1-related health boosts are applied following all the damage that has already been inflicted.

Burst Delay

As a gamer, I’ve found it beneficial to hold off on unleashing 2B’s burst when using Volume or Novel. With Volume, the buff proc isn’t immediate; it takes a second for the buff to be applied. Fortunately, Auto burst moves slowly enough that Volume’s buff can usually be activated before 2B’s burst does. However, when employing Novel, it’s different. Novel’s damage taken debuff is triggered at the exact moment her burst’s damage tick occurs.

Observation 1: When 2B’s Distributed ATK portion lands a critical hit, every target will receive a critical hit in return, and vice versa.

Observation 2: Due to the property of distributed damage, Novel’s debuff from sustained damage caused by 2B’s burst spreads to all enemies affected by it.

Final Remark: Jackal’s bonus on burst damage mysteriously impacts all occurrences of damage from her burst, suggesting it may be a bug.

Campaign

30 timer in campaign modes, making it difficult for her to handle large waves of enemies effectively, even with high investment.

In the late game, it’s unusual to include this character in teams because her damage output significantly drops unless the team is tailored specifically for her. This means that her screen-clearing ability becomes ineffective if she can’t actually clear them. However, when a team is built around her, other damage dealers will deal less damage than they typically would.

Will update team comps when possible. Most likely when A2 comes out.

Arena

2B could take on a role similar to Scarlet’s in Jackal teams. She could either replace Scarlet or collaborate effectively with Biscuit due to her defensive capabilities. Unlike Scarlet, who doesn’t require a support and can potentially one-shot teams, 2B might need multiple supports to be effective. However, she has an extra hit at the end of her burst that could easily eliminate any opponent. Her target is units with the highest Max HP, which is advantageous but not ideal when DPS units are still alive. Biscuit could potentially counter this, as well. It’s also crucial to invest heavily in 2B and her supports for her to perform optimally. If the team isn’t well-invested, Harran might be a better option for nuke teams.

It’s advisable to place any clip-based weapon in the fifth slot, as this setup significantly boosts your team’s firepower in typical 3v3 matches. However, be mindful not to engage fast-burst teams or those using Noah compositions with this configuration, as it may not offer a favorable outcome.

or

Although the Jackal is part of this three-second burst team, it’s important to note that this setup shouldn’t be considered a replacement for the Scarlet team. The Scarlet team composition should generally be used when you have Scarlet in your inventory, as it tends to deal more damage. The fifth slot is flexible; Rapunzel can perform well there.

Note: Jackal burst damage increase on 2B also works in arena too.

Note 2: Rosanna Can easily counter Her skill 2, easily negating her damage.

Special Interception | Union Raid | Solo Raid

In simpler terms, 2B operates effectively as a main Damage Per Second (DPS) character, requiring teammates or supports to complement her. Unlike most popular characters, she doesn’t rely on the standard buffs. Instead, she gains more advantage from Critical Rate and damage over Attack percentage. She performs admirably in every raid scenario.

In fire-weak raids, she is an ideal choice for a Union raid. If your collection is incomplete and you’re missing some core units, 2B can be utilized effectively in any team due to her ability to significantly boost her own attack. Ideally, pairing her with Volume and/or Mast is best, but if that’s not feasible, Frima or a CDR B2 could serve as an alternative for Volume. In the absence of Mast, Novel (except in Snow White teams) would make a suitable substitute.

In the context of Solo raids, she finds herself in an unusual position. On one side, she has the potential to deal more damage than Scarlet in a volume-mast composition (Scarlet’s current meta team in SR). Nevertheless, there are challenging aspects such as farming for critical hits to boost her burst damage, which could surpass that of Scarlet. Other factors also come into play.

  • -If Boss has a core and how frequent core hits are (Favors Scarlet as 2B’s burst can’t core hit)
  • -Weapon Efficiency Range (Favors Scarlet as she has higher auto attack values)
  • -Critical hit frequency (2B Massively favors/disfavors Crits, as non-crit bursts is a big DPS loss)
  • -Boss targetting / Attack patterns (Favors 2B as she doesn’t die in one sneeze)
  • -Scarlet is “Plug and Play”, While 2B needs big investment to get her going (around 4+/7+/7+ skill levels~) + Supporter skill levels and equipment

In simpler terms, 2B’s damage potential is high when used in Scarlet’s Solo Raid Standard Team, but the actual damage can fluctuate and sometimes not work in your favor.

She’s excellent for intercepting special attacks because of her high damage output, but she might struggle with Quick Time Event (QTE) circles compared to characters like Modernia, Scarlet, or shotgun users (Grave Digger) due to her lower regular attack strength. On the plus side, she’s very durable, which makes playing as a Blacksmith or Modernia easier.

Strengths

  • -Highest ATK in the game
  • -Hard hitting Burst
  • -Able to utilize Max HP buffers effectively
  • -Tanky
  • -Bread Factory

Weaknesses

  • -Low Normal attack Modifier
  • -Limited to certain comps to averagely perform well | Inflexible
  • -Needs high investments for her skills AND her supports (raising new team support archetype just for her)
  • -Fights need to last long for her to fully ramp up her skill 1 stacks (1:20s)
  • -Damage varies (Burst crit vs non-crit)
  • -Don’t fist the robot.

Should You Pull?

Absolutely, she’s quite capable. She has great potential for further flexibility with increased Critical Rate/Damage and Max HP enhancements in the future. Moreover, being a limited unit, she won’t be available on regular banners, making her a rare acquisition.

Absolutely, it’s possible for players to acquire duplicates of her character for Ultimate Rarity (UR) or Super Rarity (SR) purposes. However, free-to-play users should note that she won’t necessarily help you clear campaigns quickly.

She won’t immediately excel, but she’ll require careful nurturing and support to help her reach her potential.
