Love Island star reveals they are expecting a child in surprise update as they share adorable photos

Love Island star Theo Campbell revealed he is expecting a child in a surprise update on Tuesday. 

The handsome man, aged 35, who initially stepped into the villa way back in 2017, posted a delightful collection of heartwarming images on Instagram to reveal his joyous news.

During an enchanting photo session with his partner Olivia Kaiser (age 33), they were captured by the picturesque setting of a lake. Notably, Olivia showcased her expanding belly in the series of captivating images.

This year-old pair that contested on MTV’s The Challenge: Battle of the Eras recently announced their baby is expected to arrive on December 5.

They titled the update: “Our dearest hidden gem. We’ve been savoring a break from the grid – basking in peace, affection, and the enchantment of what lies ahead.

‘Now it’s time to let you in on the journey… Our little one is arriving soon.’

The news comes one year after the couple first went Instagram official with their relationship. 

Theo, just like influencer Sapphire Yhnell, is the father of a son named Aries, who made his arrival in February 2021.

When Theo shared that he hadn’t planned on being a father at his current stage in life, as they talked about him taking on parenthood for the very first time.

At age 29, the celebrity known for reality TV stated that he initially intended to delay parenthood until he was around 35 or 36. However, he found out that becoming a father wasn’t nearly as daunting as he had imagined.

Speaking on FUBAR Radio with hosts Bobby Norris and Brooke Odun, he opened up about his son.  

He mentioned that he hadn’t initially anticipated it. He’s often stated his plan to delay until he turned 35 or 36, at which point he intended to accomplish three things consecutively.

Initially, I had assumed it would be incredibly difficult, terrifying, and massive beyond comprehension. However, upon closer examination, I find that while it is indeed the largest task, it’s not as challenging or frightening as I had imagined. You see?

The celebrity managed to keep his pregnancy hidden from everyone until the baby was born, which wasn’t an easy task, but he confessed that he felt happy about being able to maintain this secret.

Theo continued by sharing that Sapphire, mother to a five-year-old named Tai, resides with her son in Wales.

He mentioned that his child resides in Wales, while he himself dwells in London. Consequently, every Sunday, he needs to journey approximately 130 miles, which takes around two hours.

A year ago, it was announced that he would be part of the All Stars version of the show, but unexpectedly, they cut him only a few hours before he entered the villa.

Theo recorded the show’s shiny promotional video, but it was alleged that he was demoted from the primary cast to a more sensational character, with Luis Morrison taking his place instead.

He slammed the producers for ‘wasting his time’ on Friday in a since deleted social media post. 

In conversation with X (who was previously known as Twitter), he posted a video featuring Kaz Kamwi, following her unexpected departure from the villa on Tuesday – during the ongoing controversy regarding diversity in the show.

‘Theo wrote: ‘It’s frustrating to spend 5 days preparing for Love Island filming only to be told at the last minute that I should come back in two weeks instead. I don’t think so.’
