Garena and KADOKAWA CORPORATION have revealed a sneak peek at the upcoming anime version of their hit battle royale game, Free Fire. This anime project was first announced back in May 2024, with KADOKAWA QINGYU taking charge of its management.

If you haven’t heard yet, Garena and KADOKAWA joined forces last year to create an anime version of Free Fire. Excitingly, they have recently unveiled a fresh teaser image and trailer, giving us a sneak peek into what we can expect in the near future.

In the trailer, it’s Kelly who steals the limelight as the principal character, hailing from the ranks of Free Fire’s most renowned figures. Accompanied by her companions, she delves into an intricate conspiracy hidden beneath a seemingly tranquil world.

As an enthusiast of anime, I’m eagerly anticipating this, with the exciting prologue promising breathtaking graphics and a more immersive exploration of the Free Fire universe. Notably, it is being helmed by Ken Takahashi, renowned for his contributions to Ragna Crimson and Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya.

CANDY BOX and Sus4 Inc power up the anime with stunning visuals and sound

The animation is being managed by the well-known studio, CANDY BOX, which has previously produced hit series like Blue Archive The Animation and Azur Lane Bisoku: Zenshin!, while Sus4 Inc. takes charge of the music production, known for their exceptional work in Ragna Crimson and Jackie Chan & Clair’s Peace of the World.
