Madonna, 66, enjoys a day of ‘margaritas and meditation’ with toyboy Akeem Morris, 29, as they celebrate July 4 with her children

It seems that Madonna’s relationship with her most recent partner is currently active, as she spent a lovely weekend enjoying time with her family.

In 2024, it was publicly acknowledged that the renowned pop star had been in a relationship with Akeem Morris, a 29-year-old football coach, whom she had initially encountered about two years prior to this confirmation.

The older-younger pair of lovers affirm that their bond remains strong as they join forces to celebrate Independence Day with Madonna’s four adopted kids: David (aged 19), Mercy (also 19), and the 12-year-old twins, Stella and Estere.

On Instagram, the seasoned actress, who is 35 years senior to her current companion and turns 66 this year, posted a heartwarming picture showing herself deeply engrossed in a tender hug with Morris.

Individual photos and clips show that her partner is skilled at horseback riding, while it’s clear from these same sources that the football coach has plenty of experience with sports.

In a light, airy summer dress made of lace, Madonna can be seen trying to meditate next to a stone sculpture depicting Siddhartha Gautama, also known as Buddha.

In light of the ongoing immigration protests happening throughout Los Angeles, she suggested: “Meditating and enjoying margaritas with The Buddha is highly suggested this Independence Day!

Despite the ongoing events such as the approval of the Big Beautiful bill and the continuous actions by ICE causing concern in America, we were able to enjoy an extraordinary weekend filled with friends, soccer, horses, and sunshine!

‘God Bless America! No, I mean Really!’ 

In the summer of 2022, Morris, who used to play soccer in college, encountered Madonna for the first time. However, it wasn’t until almost two years after that their relationship became public knowledge.

Last July, the artist openly declared their relationship on Instagram by sharing pictures of them affectionately hugging on the social networking site.

In October 2024, they were believed to have parted ways, but surprisingly, they made up again within a few short weeks following their split.

At the start of the current year, speculation about an engagement emerged when Madonna showed off a diamond ring on Instagram, a post made to greet her numerous followers with a Happy New Year.

Madonna’s first marriage was to Sean Penn from 1985 to 1989.

Although they had an infamously tempestuous romance, they have become firm friends since. 

In 1996, she gave birth to her firstborn, Lourdes (age 28), who is her daughter with fitness instructor Carlos Leon. However, their romantic connection didn’t last long.

Later on, she tied the knot with the filmmaker, Guy Ritchie, in the year 2000. Together they had a son named Rocco, who is currently 24 years old. However, their marriage ended in 2008 by means of a divorce.

Additionally, Madonna is the adoptive mother of four children hailing from Malawi – her son David, daughter Mercy, as well as twins Stella and Ester.
