According to the source, although the pair continue to cherish their feelings for one another, the considerable distance between them proved unbearable.

Erica deeply loves Shannon, and the entire family shares her sorrow. However, prolonged solitude proved to be excessively challenging for her.

I realized that our circumstances weren’t progressing, and with no resolution reached during the New Year holiday, we mutually decided it was time for us to part ways.

The source continued to imply that the separation was friendly, emphasizing that it represented a significant advancement for Erica.

According to them, she was initially downcast, but once she spent time with Shannon, she seemed more open and confident. And as for Erica, they mentioned that she thoroughly enjoyed each moment in Shannon’s company.

Erica found it quite significant that she started dating Shannon, as she’s typically not someone who hops from one relationship to another.

It’s reported by news.com.au that the renowned singer and chef ended their relationship earlier this year.

Shannon had previously opened up about navigating their long-distance relationship.

Shannon, along with their partner, collectively have nine children: Phoenix (19), Hendrix (16), Xascha (14), Xanthe (12), as well as twins Xahlia and Margaux (10). These kids are shared with an ex-partner named Madeleine West.

Meanwhile, Erica co-parents children Indigo, Jackson and Emmanuelle with ex-husband James.

Shannon and Erica were first spotted out and about together in 2023 over the Christmas holidays.
