TopCog has revealed that their roguelike “Neon Spellstorm”, akin to “Bullet Heaven”, will be releasing on Android, iOS, and PC in August. You can now pre-register for the game on mobile devices, with the App Store listing suggesting an official launch on August 11th.

Neon Spellstorm is an action role-playing game with a wizard theme, where you take on the role of a spell-casting wizard. In this fast-paced game, you’ll navigate through neon pathways that are constantly collapsing, skillfully dodging, firing spells, and altering the environment to stay alive as hordes of enemies attack from all directions.

You get to cast 28 distinct spells, each with exciting abilities such as echo, behemoth, havoc, renew, multicast, aftershock, and many more – it promises a lot of fun! Plus, there are 74 trinkets available with unpredictable effects that allow you to create powerful synergies.

As you play, you’ll gather Orbs, Stars, Gems, and elusive Neon to enhance your Neon Core. This will provide access to additional content such as fresh equipment, magic spells, and intriguing tasks, all while contributing to your lasting advancement.

Face the Neon Lord, master every wizard, and build your loadout

In other words, what I’m really looking forward to is overpowering the Neon Lord to quell the Storm, a move that increases the Storm Level, providing tougher adversaries and better rewards. Moreover, I can’t wait to experiment with all six wizards, each possessing unique skills. You get to select Spells, Fates, Archetypes, and Sigils before embarking on each adventure.

To sum it up, this game appears exciting with numerous wizards, distinctive magical abilities, evolving equipment, persistent advancement, customizable pre-game loadouts, multiple pathways in the zones, vivid pixel graphics, level layouts that change each time you play, achievements, and much more to discover.
