TikTok star Katelynn Ordone shared that she was taken aback following a conversation she had after her much-loved two-year-old son Preston, known for his endearing “OK” videos, tragically passed away in a car accident.
In rural Louisiana on April 24, Preston, the internet sensation known from videos shared by his influencer parents Katelynn and Jaelan Ordone, tragically passed away after their Ford F-150 collided with a tree.
The police stated that Preston tragically died while not being securely fastened in a car seat designed for children, a statement which his family has contested.
The Ordones’ older daughter, Paisley, seven, was not in the car at the time of the crash.
On Thursday, Katelynn shared a TikTok video recounting a 19-minute conversation she had with her father, Glen Norris, after the incident.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share a personal insight: Just recently, I found myself in an unfortunate situation where I experienced a severe traumatic brain injury. This incident left me with a blank memory of the terrible accident and the following two to three days.
Yet, her father informed her that a notable phone conversation she had with Katelynn left her stunned upon discovering the words she spoke.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share a heartwarming tale that Katelynn recently revealed. She spoke about a moment when her father marveled at her flawless recitation of the Lord’s Prayer at some point in our shared past.
She recalled having to look up the Christian recitation’s words after he mentioned it.
She shared with her audience that while she’s familiar with it and can identify it, she doesn’t possess a deep understanding or the ability to recite it flawlessly.
She added that hearing the story helped strengthen her faith and offered new hope.
‘Without God, I wouldn’t know that Preston’s at perfect peace right now,’ Katelynn said.
‘I have a lot more ground to cover before I reach my destination, and I honestly can’t imagine making it without the help of [God].’
She also described the tragedy as ‘the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life.’
Following the collision, she shared with her audience: ‘The crash was truly dreadful, miraculously, I managed to grab my phone.’
In my role as a lifestyle advisor, I immediately dialed 911 when an emergency arose. I conversed with them for approximately five minutes, though I can verify this duration only due to the recordings in my call logs. Since then, my parents have shared with me that they were informed of this call.
Katelynn shared that she could provide her current location and invited them over, yet couldn’t give them the precise address.
‘I was on the phone with my mom for about five minutes,’ Katelynn shared.
She mentioned that she clearly heard the agony in my tone. As I was moaning from the pain, she expressed that she simply couldn’t bear it any longer.
Her mom then handed off the phone call to her father, and the two spoke for about 19 minutes.
She remembered saying that her father inquired repeatedly about her location, to which she repeatedly responded, “I’m not sure.” People around her also seemed to be asking if she had children, and she would simply say, “I don’t know.” At the time, she was feeling rather disoriented.
At times, I managed to speak; at other times, I merely uttered groans and moans due to the pain. And then there were intervals when I remained silent, not speaking at all.
Her father then told her how she had recited the prayer.

Following a heartbreaking incident where my father and I were involved in a car accident, I can attest that properly securing your child in their car seat is non-negotiable. It’s a simple step that could make all the difference during unexpected circumstances.
According to the police report, Preston tragically died while not properly secured in a car seat, which his grandfather, Glen, strongly objected to as being disrespectful and misleading.
In a Facebook post, it appears that Norris responded to some allegedly harsh and distressing remarks by the police.
In addition, he conversed with NOLA, disclosing that Katelynn, Jaelan, and Preston had left the doctor’s office and were en route home when their vehicle unexpectedly swerved off the road.
During the conversation, Norris emphasized once more that Preston had been securely fastened in his seat. He mentioned this based on what a witness informed him, indicating that the baby was indeed properly secured.
It made him extremely angry when he found out what he believed were untrue reports coming from the police department, according to his statement.
Lisa Norris, who is both Katelynn’s mom and Glen’s spouse, has shared updates about their conditions too. Following the collision, they were taken to different hospitals for medical attention.
In the unfortunate incident that unfolded, I was swiftly informed via social media by the Louisiana State Police that a crash had taken place around 11:50 am, specifically in St. Tammany Parish. This location is roughly 50 miles up north from New Orleans.
According to the Louisiana State Police report, the driver and front seat passenger, both securely fastened, suffered severe injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
In the back seat, without being securely fastened in a child safety seat, Preston unfortunately suffered severe injuries. He was taken to the hospital, but tragically did not survive due to those injuries.

Jalen underwent an urgent operation on one of his legs due to an injury. He now has metal rods and pins inserted in each leg, and they are being treated at separate hospitals.
She described the devastating last moment’s of little Preston’s life.
