Joe Rogan is roasted after ’90s era stand-up comedy set resurfaces as fans are shocked by what he looked like
In his role as a commentator for the UFC, Joe Rogan has frequently described devastating knockouts. However, this time around, he experienced being on the opposite side of multiple unanswered blows.
A comedy performance from a well-known media figure in the early 1990s, currently aged 57 and previously criticized as a celebrity, has been trending online lately. It sparked discussions about various aspects such as his humor, stage charisma, style, and even appearance.
An account dedicated to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast shared a classic video on their platform (previously Twitter), showcasing Rogan telling some amusing anecdotes about an ex-girlfriend attempting to persuade him into matrimony. This clip has garnered over 8 million views now.
Some fans were taken aback by the different appearance of the Fear Factor host, who sported a fuller head of hair and a slimmer physique compared to his current look.
‘Bro was handsome?’ one wrote while another commenter said: ‘He had HAIR?!?!’
A user of X asked: ‘How did he transform from resembling Ben Affleck to appearing as a roasted, dried peanut?’

As Joe sported a black blazer with shoulder pads, many roasted his fashion sense.
One person exclaimed with delight, rolling on the floor while laughing, ‘I’m rocking grandma’s shoulder pads!’ Another commented, ‘You look like a queen in those fabulous shoulder pads.’
Another skewered the entire look as they said: ‘Are those shoulder pads? And blazer over a v-neck?’
Instead, it appears that the most ardent supporters focused on assessing his genuine comedic talent and humor-crafting skills.
One said: ‘He has never been funny. Love Rogan but comedy isn’t his strong suit.’
A devoted admirer expressed, ‘Joe Rogan could potentially be the least humorous comedian in history,’ while another supporter agreed, ‘He’s never been witty. I adore Rogan, but humor isn’t really his forte.’
Another social media user blasted his entire career with a clever dig.
I’m glad he discovered his passion for podcasting within his unique niche, saving us from enduring his comedic style that might not resonate with a broader audience in a stand-up setting.

Some supporters of Rogan have shared their favorite aspects about him, however, his stand-up comedy performance is not among those appreciated points.
A user wrote: ‘If there’s one person that is awful at Comedy it’s Rogan.
Remarkable Podcaster, Outstanding Commentator, Skilled Martial Artist, Wonderful Personality, Hilariously Brilliant in Comedy.
Joe began his career as a stand-up comedian performing in Boston’s comedy clubs in 1988.
He later moved to Los Angeles in 1994 where he became a staple at the iconic The Comedy Store.
Later, Rogan secured an exclusive development contract with Disney and made appearances on the TV programs “Hardball” and “NewsRadio”.
In the year 2000, a man who had once earned the rank of black belt in taekwondo and dabbled in kickboxing started working for the United Fighting Championship (UFC), an elite Mixed Martial Arts league. At this time, the sport was prohibited in many U.S. states.

In 2000 he made his name as host of extreme game show Fear Factor until 2006.
2009 saw the debut of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, one of the earliest entries in the podcasting sphere. Over time, it grew to be the most popular podcast globally.
Apart from achieving artistic acclaim, it has also proven financially successful, with Spotify securing exclusive rights for an impressive $200 million in 2020.
Last year, Rogan didn’t just re-sign with Spotify; instead, he opted for a non-exclusive agreement, and the value of this new contract is an impressive $250 million.
