Olivia Attwood hits out at the ‘stigma’ of WAG culture and insists her footballer husband doesn’t contribute to her lavish lifestyle
In the summer of 2023, she officially became the wife of footballer Bradley Dack, marking her as a legitimate WAG (Wife of a Footballer) at an extravagant wedding held in central London.
As a dedicated follower, I’ve taken issue with the stereotype surrounding dating successful athletes, emphasizing that my luxurious lifestyle is self-funded and not dependent on anyone else’s success. Ever since I stepped out of the Love Island villa in 2017, I’ve been tirelessly working to achieve my goals and build a life for myself.
34-year-old television host had a relationship with Bradley, who was 31 at the time, before joining the ITV reality program. Notably, Bradley was an active football player for the League Two team, Gillingham FC.
Olivia dismissed accusations of being a gold digger, emphasizing that the nature of her husband’s job is irrelevant since she works tirelessly every day of the week.
She informed TopMob: “I believe the general sentiment is that since she works every day of the week, she must have a substantial amount of money.
Initially, when Brad and I began our relationship, there may have been some social prejudice associated with dating a professional athlete.

People might respond with something like, “Uh-huh,” accompanied by a slight sigh or eye roll, followed by uninformed remarks such as, “Wow, she must be with him because he’s a football player.
‘I’ve got my own money, so it doesn’t really matter what he does for a job.’
Back in the sweltering summer of ’17, I found myself utterly captivated by Olivia on Love Island. Her no-nonsense charm and vivacious spirit had me hooked from day one! She made it to the grand finale alongside her then beau, Chris Hughes, a man 32 years old. We watched them together, cheering them on until they parted ways in February ’18.
Now, the woman who once worked as a grid girl is widely recognized in many homes and frequently seen on television shows such as The Only Way Is Essex, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, This Morning, and Loose Women.
As an ardent fan, I can’t help but marvel at Olivia’s incredible television career! She’s graced our screens with her presence on numerous shows she’s fronted herself, including Bad Boyfriends, Getting Filthy Rich, and The Price of Perfection. In her own words, she’s seized opportunities like a starving wolf snatching morsels, taking ‘big jobs, little jobs, whatever I could get,’ as she puts it, from TV executives who must feel like they’ve lost a hand after dealing with Olivia!
However, her triumph wasn’t a quick win; instead, she shared her journey of persistent hard work after leaving the villa, which culminated in her current success.
After leaving Love Island, I had a clear vision of my future. I was determined to continue in the television industry, and all my actions since then have been aimed at achieving that larger ambition.
Throughout my journey, I’ve shown a lot of patience, mastered my skills, and continuously learn more. I’ve tackled both large and small projects, eagerly accepting any opportunity that came my way.

She mentioned, “I’m consistently striving towards a larger objective, and I’m putting in a great deal of effort. It won’t happen instantly.
‘Even when you get a big platform like Love Island, you still need to prove yourself to people.
Reality shows can make people expect instant results, but let me remind you that such achievements often take time and persistence, not just quick success.
Olivia frequently carries high-end brands like Chanel and Hermes because she’s been able to live an expensive life due to her successful TV job.
Over the past few years, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing some truly opulent journeys – just within the last nine weeks, you might have spotted me in the charming cities of Paris, Miami, and Ibiza.
In her widely-watched TV documentary titled “Price of Perfection,” Olivia openly discussed her personal cosmetic enhancements and admitted to spending approximately $2,000 per month preserving her appearance.
Initially, Olivia was dating Bradley the footballer prior to her search for romance on the Love Island villa in Mallorca back in 2017.
Back in 2015, I crossed paths with an intriguing individual at a bustling West End nightspot, all thanks to some fantastic mutual acquaintances who thought we’d hit it off. Quite the serendipitous encounter!
For a span of approximately three months, their relationship had periods of being on and off. Eventually, the romantic connection dwindled, leading Olivia to participate in Love Island, where she later revealed that Bradley was the former partner she mentioned during her introductory video.
In the throes of my unyielding fandom, I can’t help but share the heartrending tale that unfolded when Olivia and Chris parted ways in February 2018, barely a year after gracing us with their captivating love story on Love Island. Yet, as the days rolled by, my beloved Olivia found herself once again entwined with Bradley, rekindling their relationship in early 2018.
In October 2019, Olivia made public their engagement by posting delightful photos of them as a couple, enjoying a beautiful beach setting in Dubai, following the moment when the footballer proposed to her.
Alongside the photos, she wrote: ‘He must be crazy… Here’s to forever. I love you BD.’
The pair then got married in June 2023 at luxury five-star hotel Bulgari in Knightsbridge.
In the company of around 80 loved ones, including her beaming father Kai, Olivia radiated elegance in a custom £30,000 lace-trimmed wedding dress designed by Galia Lahav. This was but one of two breathtaking outfits she donned during the special day.
Olivia is currently collaborating with Costa Coffee on the Costa Hypeline, an exclusive one-day delivery service that provides motivational voice messages from Roman Kemp and herself, as a way to honor their new line of cold latte beverages in cans.
Customized voice messages aim to inspire people during challenging times, transforming pre-interview anxieties, mid-afternoon slumps, and even the dread associated with doing laundry into motivational moments.
Live on July 17, the Hypeline responds to Gen Z’s growing need for everyday motivation.
Olivia pointed out that small actions can have a big impact. By incorporating these small ‘boosts’ into our daily routine, we create something enjoyable to anticipate and provide a pleasant interruption in our day.
As a die-hard fan, I’ve learned that savoring those little bursts of happiness prepares me like no other for whatever life decides to toss my way during the day.

‘It’s not about doing more, it’s about feeling better while you do it.
Encouragement plays a significant role since many people often reach a barrier well before noon. A bit of enthusiasm can certainly take you far.
I’m excited to speak with Costa over the phone and offer a few words of motivation.
On July 17th, we’re taking over the Costa Hypeline for a day, offering productivity boosts that are long overdue! Don’t forget to tune in for an energizing experience!
