A Controller, in essence, refers to a Brawler Class characterized by Brawlers who excel in managing or commanding specific zones on the map. Typically, they are equipped with a variety of powerful abilities that can affect multiple targets at once (area-of-effect, or AoE), enabling them to inflict damage across a broad area.

In theory, controllers excel against adversaries who find themselves in disadvantaged positions on the map. They are competent in mid-range to long-range skirmishes, but they might struggle when confronting close-combat specialists like Assassins or Damage Dealers. Our general assessment is that they perform well in game modes such as Hot Zone and Gem Grab.

At present, there are 18 distinct Controller Brawlers within the game ‘Brawl Stars‘. Each one of these characters comes equipped with a special set of abilities, along with their own unique advantages and disadvantages. To assist you in determining which Brawlers are top-tier and which may be less effective, we’ve organized them all into a tier list for your convenience.

These include the strength of their area-of-effect abilities, their proficiency in managing crowds, and their adaptability within the current game environment. Additionally, we took into account their statistical characteristics, such as their health points (HP) and attack power.

That said, here is our tier list ranking all the Controller Brawlers in Brawl Stars:

Best Controllers to Use in Brawl Stars

The best Controllers in Brawl Stars are Finx, Meeple, and Mr. P.

Finx is widely recognized as one of the top choices among players, and stands out as one of the Brawlers with an exceptionally high success rate. His primary advantage lies in his Super ability, which enables him to temporarily alter the flow of time within a specific region. By activating both his Gadgets and Star Powers, he can either accelerate friendly projectiles or decelerate enemy ones, making him ideal for managing disputed areas.

Meeple excels at controlling the surrounding environment, making him an effective Controller character. His special ability empowers him and his teammates to fire through various terrains, while his “Meeple’s Mansions” gadget captures and harms adversaries within a confined space.

To sum up, the character Mr. P is currently climbing the ranks in the game’s current metagame. This is largely because of his primary attack and Super. His main attack functions like a long-range artillery blast, easily clearing obstacles to damage enemies from a distance. When used, his Super sets up a base that produces robot penguins which chase and assault opponents.

Worst Controllers to Use in Brawl Stars

Willow is arguably the worst Controller Brawler in the game at the moment.

Sadly, she struggles to manage an area efficiently due to her inability to exert significant influence and her slow attack pace, coupled with low health points. While her Super ability might momentarily control enemies, its effectiveness is questionable as it seldom has a substantial impact on the game’s outcome.
