Here’s a rundown of the publishers who truly shone this month, both in terms of download numbers and earnings.

Top Mobile Game Publishers by Downloads for June 2025

Azur Games maintained its dominance, topping the download charts yet again with more than 112.5 million installs, fueled by its successful hyper-casual games. Miniclip moved up into second place with approximately 91.1 million downloads, slightly surpassing BabyBus that trailed closely behind with around 87.1 million installs.

Voodoo maintained its strong position at fourth place, boasting around 72.6 million downloads of their fast-paced games. On the other hand, Supercent made a significant move, climbing up to fifth place with approximately 61.9 million game downloads, solidifying itself as a reliable name in casual gaming.

The remaining spots in the top 10 were taken by impressive showings from SayGames, Supersonic Studios, Outfit7, and CrazyLabs. These companies have cultivated dedicated user communities through their commitment to quality. 1SOFT closed out the top ten with approximately 37.3 million installs, demonstrating expansion in various markets.

Significantly, Tencent Games ranked 13th in terms of installs with approximately 31.7 million, marking an improvement from its 14th position in May but with a slightly smaller number of downloads. This is still noteworthy due to their emphasis on high-revenue games. Hungry Studio and Microfun Limited also made the top 15, both recording install numbers nearly reaching the 30 million mark.

On the income front, once more, Tencent Games dominated with an impressive $444.9 million earnings in June, a fact that comes as no shock considering their reputation. Following closely behind was Century Games, who pocketed $183.7 million, largely due to the high level of involvement in their simulation and strategy games.

Dream Games held its dominant stance with a staggering $141.9 million in earnings, primarily driven by the ongoing success of Royal Match, which generated an impressive $100 million this month alone. Scopely and FunPlus battled it out for fourth and fifth place, each reporting around $130.9 million and $129.6 million respectively, due to their popular games.

As a dedicated gaming enthusiast, it’s fascinating to see long-time developers like King and Playrix maintain their dominance by both surpassing the impressive milestone of $122 million in revenue. On the other hand, NetEase Games and the emerging powerhouse Cognosphere (HoYoverse) solidified their positions in the upper echelons with earnings exceeding $100 million each.

Supercell, fueled by the enduring success of games like Clash of Clans and Clash Royale (with the latter reaching as high as the 15th spot in monthly game revenue rankings), generated a total revenue of approximately $101 million across all their games last month.

The lower five among the top 15 performed exceptionally well, with Bandai Namco, Moon Active, Niantic, Microfun, and The Pokémon Company showing consistent monthly earnings exceeding $57 million each. This strong revenue flow underscores the enduring popularity of their main game franchises.
