Braith Anasta’s ex fiancée Rachael Lee celebrates her engagement to Bra Boys boyfriend Evan Faulks with intimate party

On Saturday, the former fiancee of NRL player Braith Anasta held a small gathering to celebrate her engagement to Evan Faulks, one of the Bra Boys.

On Instagram, Rachel Lee recently posted numerous photos and videos from the memorable occasion when Faulks proposed to her, an event that garnered attention in May.

The joyful pair marked their engagement by enjoying cheese platters, fruity skewers, and a giant Pavlova, along with a cake adorned with daisies and blueberries.

Rachel shimmered in a striking, maroon-patterned gown that gracefully cascaded to the ground. She added a touch of charm to her ensemble with a chunky, earthy-toned belt and cardigan.

Her husband-to-be opted for neutral tones in a white t-shirt, cream-coloured chinos and sandals.

In one caption, she expressed that her affection for him would endure eternally, as a photo showcasing their joy and her engagement ring sparkled depicted the blissful duo shining.

‘Celebrating our love w family & friends.. Forever blessed,’ she captioned another.

Two years since my heart was left shattered when Braith Anasta, the legendary footballer known for his stints with the Sydney Roosters and Wests Tigers, parted ways with Rachael – the woman who’s captured my admiration as a devoted fan, she’s announced her engagement! I can hardly contain my excitement as I eagerly await their journey together.

I, overjoyed beyond words, couldn’t wait to share the exhilarating news that swept me off my feet! In a heartfelt Instagram post back in May, I unveiled a captivating video and a gallery of images chronicling the magical moment when Evan dropped to one knee during our extraordinary journey to Uluru.

In the clip, Evan could be seen getting down on one knee in a romantic outback setting at sunset.

With tears of joy streaming down her face, the couple embraced and kissed. 

In her caption, Rachael expressed, ‘From the instant I laid eyes on you, I knew our bond would last an eternity – The cosmos always orchestrates things in its own way… I will always cherish you, x.’

Rachel appeared radiantly dreamy in the video, donning a free-spirited, fashionable two-piece outfit consisting of a flowing skirt and a coordinating top knotted upfront.

It comes after she opened up about her relationship with Evan in April.

She shared with The Sunday Telegraph that her relationship is incredibly profound and heartwarming, and Evan has been a fantastic influence in the lives of her kids, Addison (who is 13) and Gigi (age 7).

‘My relationship with Evan is something I’ve never had before,’ she said.

I am incredibly fortunate to have Evan in the lives of Addi and Gigi. He is an exceptionally honest, faithful, and compassionate individual who makes an outstanding father and companion.

She also hinted they have ‘really exciting future plans happening together’.

Rachel mentioned that she and Braith have been figuring out their shared responsibilities as parents for their daughter, Gigi.

‘Co-parenting comes with its ups and downs, and a lot of agreeing to disagree,’ she added. 

Evan has been romantically involved with Rachael since the start of last year.

In a thrilling turn of events last Christmas eve, I had the fortune to witness history unfolding right before my eyes at Crown Plaza, Coogee. The following year, in May, as I joined the festivities for my dear idol’s 36th birthday, I was beyond ecstatic to catch a glimpse of them together in public for the first time!

In the year 2023, after an extensive 18-month probe concerning suspected drug shipments seized by U.S. officials, Evan was handed over from Queensland for further legal proceedings.

Police allege he was a ‘high-ranking member’ of the Maroubra-based Bra Boys surf gang.

On March 19, 2024, Evan appeared in court for allegations involving his leadership of a criminal organization, handling funds from illicit activities with an intent to hide them, and managing property exceeding $100,000, which was suspected to have been obtained illegally.

The first two charges were withdrawn on that date, and Evan pleaded not guilty to the third.

Evan is under tight restrictions regarding his bail, which require him to maintain good conduct, visit the Maroubra police station each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8 am and 8 pm, and avoid approaching any location that serves as a point of international departure within a 500-meter radius.

Rachael and Braith confirmed their split in November, 2022, following months of rumours. 

Approximately a month had passed, and Rachel introduced her new relationship with Blake Hillen – a skilled bricklayer and aspiring boxer hailing from the Sutherland Shire.

Nevertheless, a source reportedly informed Daily Mail Australia in 2023 that Rachael and Blake had once been extremely close, almost inseparable, but their relationship appears to have ended. This is suggested by the fact that they stopped following each other on Instagram, and later, Rachael found a new love interest named Evan.

Braith went on to date Evie Tziomakis, but a source confirmed they had parted ways in June, 2024.
