Sharon Osbourne makes candid confession on husband Ozzy’s career as she declares ‘I’m done’ – ahead of Black Sabbeth reunion show

After spending a lifetime in the music industry, Sharon Osbourne has expressed that she is now finished with adhering to schedules and overseeing her husband Ozzy.

Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, aged 76, is set to perform alongside Black Sabbath one last time during their “Back To The Beginning” concert at Birmingham’s Villa Park on Saturday, marking the end of an era for this iconic heavy metal band.

The climactic encounter occurs with worries about Ozzy’s wellbeing, given his medical history of seven operations over the last five years, including a fourth spinal surgery in 2023.

Ozzy, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003, intends to continue making music while bidding a heartfelt goodbye to live performances, promising a poignant evening.

She’s confirmed that after Ozzy takes the stage for his final performance, we won’t be seeing any more gigs, tours, or comebacks from our beloved duo. Speaking to Billboard she insisted that ‘there’s no way on God’s Earth’ there’ll be more.

As a devoted admirer since my teenage years, I’d rephrase it like this: “Ever since I was 15, I’ve been immersed in this, but now, it’s time for a change. We yearn for the freedom to live life on our terms, to chart our own course, and break free from the constraints of schedules and itineraries.

After Ozzy shared that his greatest remorse was failing to adequately express gratitude to his fans following the premature ending of his 2018 No More Tours 2 farewell tour due to health issues, he chose to step down.

Sharon said the farewell concert – dubbed Back To The Beginning – was her idea.

She clarified that he repeatedly expressed two sentiments: “That’s my biggest regret,” and “I long to genuinely express my gratitude.

For nearly half a century, the couple, Aimee (41), Kelly (40), and Jack (39) – their children – have witnessed the deep and enduring love between their parents, who have been married for 43 years. Sharon, their mother, continues to express her admiration for her beloved rockstar husband.

She shared with The Mirror, “Regardless of whether you enjoy his music or not, there’s something about Ozzy that captivates you.

For more than half a century, I’ve stood by his side, my loyalty fueled by love. It’s straightforward: I comprehend him, his actions, and the reasons behind them.

After The Prince of Darkness has felt a deep emotion while pondering over the importance of the upcoming Saturday’s performance, which signifies the last live show of his career.

He expressed his gratitude by saying, “This is my last performance; it’s an opportunity for me to express thanks to my fans for their unwavering support and presence throughout my journey.

They truly mean everything to me. I’ll always be indebted to them for being there for me and our fans. It’s hard to express my feelings in words, but I’m deeply moved and grateful.

He added: ‘It’s a goodbye as far as my live performances go, and what a way to go out.’ 

The well-known lead singer, who has gone through seven operations over a span of five years and has been fighting Parkinson’s since 2003, firmly stated that the venue for the performance – his native city of Birmingham – was absolutely not up for discussion.

‘I couldn’t have done my final show anywhere else,’ he said. ‘I had to go back to the beginning.’
