Julia Roberts’ VERY simple celebration for 23rd wedding anniversary despite being worth $250million

Julia Roberts is among the wealthiest film actors globally, but when it comes to her marital life with partner Danny Moder, they appear to prefer a simple lifestyle rather than a lavish one.

The 57-year-old Academy Award winner, with an estimated net worth of $250 million, chose a unique and down-to-earth approach for their 23rd wedding anniversary celebration.

With that much money, they could splurge on dining at one of the costliest restaurants globally – Sublime in Ibiza, Spain. This exceptional eatery serves a 20-dish tasting menu for an individual price tag of $2,380.

Or taken a private jet to anywhere around the world. 

Contrary to expectations, the couple demonstrated that wealth doesn’t guarantee happiness; instead, they found immense joy during their seemingly ordinary camping excursion together.

‘You + Me = 23,’ the Erin Brockovich star wrote in the caption of her tent photo.

Moder too posted a picture from his outdoor excursion. He titled it, “23 years is SILVER… here we are on my etched spoon! The fun persists… and a cheerful 4th to everyone!

In 2002, the couple got married on the 82-acre ranch belonging to the actress from The My Best Friend’s Wedding, which is located in Taos, New Mexico, specifically on the Fourth of July that year.

They exchanged simple vows with no wedding party or celebrity guests. 

The couple share three kids, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 20, and Henry, 18.

As a devoted follower of my priorities, I’ve consistently chosen my family above my professional endeavors, and achieving the status of a renowned actress has been an unforgettable realization of a long-held aspiration. Yet, this isn’t the only dream that has come to fruition for me.

Julia and Danny maintain a private relationship, however, Julia partially attributed her youthful appearance at age 57 to Danny.

She shared with British Vogue in January that having good genetics, living a satisfying life, and occasionally jokingly, she believes in the affection of a decent man.

I strongly feel that my spouse’s love and concern for me brings me immense joy and contentment.

In fact, the actress from Notting Hill stated that encountering Danny, who was 56 at the time, on the set of The Mexican in 2001 was a stroke of perfect timing, almost as if it were destined or divinely timed.

Julia shared, “The best part about both my professional and personal life is that I achieved success in my career earlier on.

After spending 18 years in my career while achieving a fulfilling family life with a partner and kids who desired my presence at home, I found myself in a privileged position. I was no longer compelled to choose between my professional and personal life, as I had the freedom to balance both.

When asked what the key to their long lasting love is, Julia got a little cheeky in her reply.

In a conversation with E! News back in 2022, Julia stated, “That’s my consistent stance, and I’m standing by it. It’s all about kissing deeply and frequently.

Two years back, The Leave the World Behind celebrated their 21st anniversary by sharing a smooching photo on Instagram accompanied by the hashtags: ‘#true love’, ‘#yes indeed’, and ‘#from here on out’.

In 2020, Roberts shared with People that her husband is her most cherished individual in the universe. She enjoys spending time with him immensely… His perspective holds immense value for her.

Danny plays a significant role in our children’s daily schedule, so the only small change is my temporary absence during filming. However, I consider myself an essential part of their lives.

Her love for her husband and family has translated to greater happiness with herself as well.

Recently, it was my birthday, and I must admit, I haven’t been this joyful on my birthday in a very long time, Roberts shared.

As an overjoyed enthusiast, I can’t help but feel that a significant piece of my bliss stems from the privileged nook I inhabit in this vast universe, surrounded by my cherished kin and companions.
