Minnie Driver marked Independence Day on Friday with a series of patriotic throwback snaps.

Initiated the series of images was the actress, who is both British and American, aged 55. She kicked off this collection with a picture showing herself during pregnancy, her baby bump adorned with stars and stripes.

On yet another joyous 4th of July passed, Minnie, mother to 16-year-old Henry with her former partner, producer Timothy J. Lea, disclosed a charming secret: she crafted a delightful cake shaped like a burger.

I caught sight of her in a Stars and Stripes golf cart, accompanied by Henry, who was proudly displaying the first-place medal he had just earned from a watermelon seed spitting contest.

We’re enjoying the festive mood of independence – from adorning our bellies during pregnancy, to the annual golf cart parade in Malibu, to the cake I baked shaped like a burger, to Henry triumphing in the watermelon seed spitting contest.

To personally prefer chewing on a watermelon instead of spitting out the seeds, for my elderly, proud self who cherished such occasions, is largely due to the fact that people tend to get drunk during these events and frequently drop their hot dogs.

Keren Bartov, a renowned aesthetician from Israel, is responsible for her stunning look. Notable personalities like Gal Gadot, Demi Moore, Kim Kardashian, and Julia Roberts have all been under her skilled care.

Minnie posted alongside her selfie: ‘I don’t usually share photos without any makeup or retouching, but since I’m quite self-conscious, I thought I’d make an exception today.’

I’ve been compelled to take action only because I’ve been battling flu and have felt every one of my years lately, which leaves me absolutely astounded that my friend Keren can transform my appearance to appear radiant like Christmas without even needing five mulled wines.

This year, Minnie pondered over the evolution of opportunities for women in their mature years within the movie industry.

She stated to People during a summer panel discussion that we’re now old enough to be over forty, and it’s a change from before.

The Phantom of the Opera actress expressed that she doesn’t understand what event sparked this realization, but it seems to be connected to the point where women are truly flourishing, having presumably faced challenges of being objectified.
