BBC’s “twisty, turny” whodunit that’s “a delicious binge” jumps up streaming chart after Netflix release
The mystery thriller titled “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder“, known for its unexpected twists and addictive viewing, has climbed the rankings on streaming platforms after its debut on Netflix, becoming a popular choice among viewers.
In simpler terms, this mystery thriller show, inspired by Holly Jackson’s 2019 book with the same title, tells the story of Pip Fitz-Amobi (played by Emma Myers), a high school student delving into an old murder case that she believes was wrongly solved initially.
Featuring Anna Maxwell Martin and Mathew Baynton in secondary roles, this six-part series initially premiered on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer in July 2024. Now, all episodes are accessible for viewing on Netflix, as they were added to the platform on July 1st.

As a game enthusiast, I’m absolutely ecstatic that we get to carry on Pip’s journey! This time around, I get to pen down the plot for this series, and let me tell you, it feels incredible! We owe this opportunity to our devoted fans, and I can hardly wait to reconnect with my AGGGTM teammates!
Poppy Cogan, the series creator, expressed her joy at returning to Little Kilton with Pip and companions for the second season. She is excited to adapt yet another captivating tale by Holly into the show’s script, as she will be jointly writing the new season with Jackson.
