Unforgotten and Inside No. 9 stars lead Taskmaster’s exciting new lineup for next season

Taskmaster has confirmed the line-up for season 20.

The tenth-year comedy run is uniting five fresh comedians to attempt winning over Greg Davies’ approval, while Alex Horne ensures the event runs smoothly.

To wrap things up, only one of these contestants will earn the title of the newest Taskmaster champion. So, who are they, you ask? Time to get acquainted with them.

Initially, we introduce stand-up comedian and writer of the show “Chicken Shop Date,” Ania Magliano. Additionally, there’s Phil Ellis, who gained recognition through his BBC Radio 4 sitcom titled “Phil Ellis is Trying.

The beloved panel show guest, Maisie Adam, known for her stints on shows such as “Have I Got News for You” and “8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown”, will also be participating.

Lastly, we have the co-creator and actor of “Inside No. 9,” Reece Shearsmith, as well as Sanjeev Bhaskar, who delivers dramatic performances on ITV’s “Unforgotten” but is also known for his roles in comedies such as “Goodness Gracious Me” and “The Kumars at No. 42.”

This announcement follows immediately after the Season 19 finale that has recently declared its winner among Fatiha El-Ghorri, Jason Mantzoukas, Mathew Baynton, Rosie Ramsey, and Stevie Martin.

Lately, Alex Horne disclosed that during the series run of the show, there was a single contestant whom he would not welcome back if given the chance. Now, several comedians are inquisitive to learn whether they were the one who didn’t make the cut.

As we eagerly anticipate who will be part of the cast for “Last One Laughing” Season 2 on Prime Video, here are nine Taskmaster stars that we think would make a fantastic addition to the show.

Taskmaster will return with season 19 soon, airing and streaming on Channel 4.
