Michael Madsen’s final interview saw outspoken star gush over Alec Baldwin and slam Johnny Depp as ‘overrated’
Michael Madsen, famously recognized for his roles in films directed by Quentin Tarantino such as Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill, passed away at the age of 67.
Before he passed away, the actor who played Donnie Brasco granted an interview to Stephen Baldwin on his “One Big Movie” podcast, which is thought to be his last one.
During their open conversation, Madsen praised Alec Baldwin, but jokingly criticized Johnny Depp as being more famous than he deserves.
Following his appreciation for Baldwin’s film poster assortment, he mentioned that he had once amassed a substantial collection of his own, unfortunately, it was destroyed along with his house during the 2018 Woolsey Fire in Malibu.
Later, Baldwin inquired about Madsen’s recent activities, and the Kill Bill actor responded with a casual and impromptu remark.
‘Just trying to stay employed,’ he said with a laugh.
Later on, Baldwin reached out to his elder sibling, Alec Baldwin, for a chat about their shared experience in the 1994 movie “The Getaway.” Notably, this film featured Alec’s former spouse, Kim Basinger, as well.

Alec and Michael then shared several anecdotes from their experience filming The Getway.
They hinted at engaging in some secretive activity, possibly involving illicit substances, within a bathroom.
Additionally, Alec recounted a humorous anecdote where they considered taking a break from filming one day. When Madsen’s hotel room telephone rang, he picked it up.
A person inquired about Mr. Mason, and Alec responded with a humorous mix of a Latino and Chicago dialect.
