Katie Price forced to move out of £5k-a-month rental property – one year after being evicted from her Mucky Mansion
Katie Price finds herself compelled to leave a monthly rented house that costs £5,000, having been in it for only a year following an eviction from her Mucky Mansion.
The former glamour model, 47, currently lives in a four bedroom, Tudor-style home in rural Sussex.
In 2014, the opulent property she had purchased from Conservative peer Francis Maude, popularly known as her Mucky Mansion, went up for sale. Following financial difficulties and her filing for bankruptcy a second time in March 2024, she was evicted, and the estate was ultimately sold in December of the same year.
This week on her podcast, Katie shared that she’s been browsing homes listed on Rightmove since her landlord mentioned they were putting her current home up for sale.
She mentioned that she needs to relocate because the property’s owner has decided to put the house up for sale immediately. Consequently, she finds herself back in the process of searching for a new home.
‘I could head near my kid’s school since I need to speak with someone there. He may allow me to stay for a while longer, but there’s also a chance he won’t.’

Katie mentioned that she had been searching on Rightmove, and then went on to say: “However, if it doesn’t work out, I will relocate nearer to my children’s school instead.
After reducing the price of her run-down £1.5 million house for a second time, the glamour model was able to find a buyer in December.
In October, Katie, who had been evicted due to unpaid mortgage fees, reduced the property’s listing price to £1.35 million, as the house hadn’t sold at its initial asking price.
Currently, it’s being purchased for approximately £1.15 million, which stands in sharp contrast to Katie’s initial estimation of the Sussex mansion’s value.
‘The new owners, who have taken over the property through a mortgage, have received an offer of £1,150,000.’
Regardless, Katie won’t receive any money from the sale since all of it will go towards paying off the debts she accrued on the Sussex property earlier.
Initially, when the house went up for sale, a brochure advised prospective buyers to steer clear of an empty swimming pool belonging to Katie, and it cautioned that the property might have been polluted with waste.
The advertisement for the pad online stated that with some renovations, it could transform into a remarkable residence suitable for a family.

The property is a spacious, standalone residence offering three common areas, nine bedrooms, and four bathrooms or shower rooms across three levels, along with a separate one-bedroom cottage.
In May, the bailiffs forced the celebrity and her loved ones out of their residence in West Sussex due to missed mortgage payments.
Previously, the individual purchased this property for approximately 1.35 million pounds in 2014, which was originally owned by ex-Conservative peer Francis Maude. This property later appeared on Channel Four as part of the renovation project the person undertook.
When she moved out she claimed the house was ‘cursed’.
Discussing Mucky Mansion, she mentioned, “That place has only brought me unpleasant recollections.” She was firm about the move, viewing it as the beginning of a fresh, new phase in her life.
She is currently forking out almost £5,000 per month for her new property.
As an overjoyed admirer, let me share that the grand residence, boasting a spacious double garage and an open-concept kitchen, is set to become my beloved Katie’s new abode, along with her five cherished offspring.
