One person implied that they are harsher on this adaptation due to their familiarity with the British original, while another suggested that viewers seeking a genuinely humorous series with similar themes and characters should opt for the BBC version instead.

On the other hand, numerous individuals have changed their minds, with one spectator expressing that they are “thoroughly altering” their initial opinion about the American series.

Initially, I had high hopes due to my fondness for the BBC adaptation, but unfortunately, those expectations weren’t fulfilled,” they explained. “However, since the premiere in 2021, there have been numerous episodes and this show has developed its unique identity. If you’ve already seen the British series “Ghosts” initially, you might find this one a bit slow to pick up at first, but as it progresses, you’ll become deeply involved and enjoy it thoroughly. Over time, the actors seem to delve deeper into their characters, truly coming alive and making the storylines more vibrant.

A supporter went as far as declaring the American adaptation as superior, justifying it by saying: “It offers an abundance of diverse characters, paving the path for creative storytelling that transports the audience through a thrilling journey of feelings.

In a new take, we have: The initial British series “Ghosts” features Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe, concluding its broadcast on BBC in 2023 after completing a total of five seasons.

Both the US and UK versions of Ghosts are available to stream now on BBC iPlayer.
