Miley Cyrus, Timothée Chalamet and Demi Moore to receive stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame
A few new stars are set to appear on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
This morning, Eugenio Derbez and Richard Blade revealed that Miley Cyrus, Timothée Chalamet, and Demi Moore are part of a group of 35 individuals being honored.
The inductees were chosen from five different fields: film, television, stage performances, music, and sports broadcasting. There were no inductees from radio this year. Among those joining the class of 2026 are Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Molly Ringwald, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Rami Malek, Noah Wyle, Shaquille O’Neal (former NBA player turned sports analyst), and co-anchors Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos from “Good Morning America” – they will both have their ceremonies. Carlo Rambaldi, an Italian special effects artist, and director Tony Scott will be honored posthumously.
Entertainment & Arts
During Gal Gadot’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, both supporters of Palestine and Israel voiced their opinions publicly.
Cyrus, known for her ninth studio album “Something Beautiful” which came out in May, filmed a music video for her fittingly titled single “Walk of Fame” by meandering along the Walk of Fame. Subsequently, she disclosed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that she had contracted an infection on her kneecap from the bacteria found on Hollywood Boulevard’s iconic sidewalk. Despite this setback, the singer posted some clips of the footage on Instagram shortly following the announcement of her star.
Initially arriving in Los Angeles from Nashville as a young girl, my family would reside at a hotel on Hollywood Boulevard. In the stillness of the night, I’d embark on strolls with my father, when he remained anonymous. The gift shops were vacant, and we could shop for counterfeit Oscars and memorabilia of Marilyn Monroe without interruption. To find myself immortalized on this iconic street today, surrounded by the legends who fueled my aspirations, is a surreal experience, like waking up in a dream.

Sports
81-year-old Billie Jean King becomes the initial female honoree in the sports and entertainment section of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, receiving star number 2,807. Known for her achievements in tennis and activism, she is now recognized with this distinguished honor.
Currently, Chalamet is basking in the afterglow of his Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown.” His portrayal of the iconic singer-songwriter even earned him an Oscar nomination. This coming summer, he’ll dive back into filming for the third part of the “Dune” series, called “Dune: Messiah,” as per Deadline reports.
This year, Moore, recognized for her role in the 1985 film “St. Elmo’s Fire,” secured her first Oscar nomination for her part in “The Substance” alongside Margaret Qualley. Soon, she and Ringwald will become the most recent members of the Brat Pack to receive a star on the Walk of Fame, following in Rob Lowe’s footsteps from 2015. Interestingly, Blunt and her brother-in-law Stanley Tucci, who previously worked together in “The Devil Wears Prada,” will reunite for the sequel.
After being chosen, recipients are obligated to bear a $85,000 fee for the production and placement of the star, along with the ongoing upkeep of the Walk of Fame. The individuals have a maximum of two years to arrange their ceremonies, after which the offer is no longer valid.
As a passionate cinephile, I’d like to highlight an upcoming movie extravaganza that features some of the most talented actors gracing our screens. Demi Moore, Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Chris Columbus, Marion Cotillard, Keith David, Rami Malek, Rachel McAdams, Franco Nero, Deepika Padukone, Molly Ringwald, Stanley Tucci, and the late Carlo Rambaldi (posthumously) are all set to bring this cinematic masterpiece to life. The film is directed by the legendary Tony Scott (also posthumously), promising an unforgettable experience for us movie enthusiasts.
Event featuring Greg Daniels, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lucero, Gordon Ramsay, Melody Thomas Scott, Bradley Whitford, Noah Wyle, along with a double ceremony attended by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos – All gathered for an occasion centering around television.
