Vic Reeves’ wife Nancy Sorrell, 50, shows off her figure in a colourful bikini as the pair share fun snaps hitting the beach in Kent

On a sunny day in Kent, England, Vic Reeves’ wife, Nancy Sorrell, displayed her stylish swimsuit in vibrant hues while they both enjoyed some beach fun and took delightful photos together on Wednesday.

The model, 50, posed up a storm in new snaps posted to Instagram this week amid the UK’s heatwave.

66-year-old Vic, also known as James Moir, was bare-chested while standing alongside his beautiful spouse near the seashore.

He also shared a funny video of them cooling off in the water as they waved at the camera.

After posting, the star penned down: ‘I’m not just waving, I’m drowning. Or perhaps it’s ‘The Mermaid and the Walrus’. There’s also a stone shark in English coastal waters. @nancy_sorrell’ (This version maintains the original meaning while making it easier to understand for a wider audience.)

Vic and Nancy, who have been married for over two decades, share daughters Elizabeth and Nell.

Besides being Vic’s wife, Nancy is additionally the stepmother to Alice, who is 32 years old, and Louis, aged 27, from Vic’s earlier marriage with Sarah Vincent.

The model first met Vic in 2001 when they both appeared on the same BBC Two TV show.

Later on, she received an invitation to feature on the television program “Shooting Stars,” a production that its creator and host, alongside his comedy partner Bob Mortimer, had established. They quickly formed a connection, and since then, their story has been one for the books.

After Nancy publicly shared concerns about her relationship with Vic, given their significant 15-year age difference at the start of their union, it subsequently developed and endured.

In an interview with The Sun, she stated that they predicted the relationship wouldn’t endure and would only last for a fortnight.

‘They would point out the age difference but it was irrelevant to us.

Initially, things were challenging for us. We found it puzzling when others predicted our relationship would not last. Yet, we chose to disregard such predictions.

She mentioned that those who knew us intimately found our relationship acceptable, but most others believed it wouldn’t last and considered it nothing more than a jest.

I gleefully declared that my conviction grew stronger by the day, as we seemed to have silenced our skeptics with the endurance of our love story. Yet, I must admit, I remain baffled by the criticisms and misunderstandings surrounding our unique bond.

In May, Jim shared insights into his strategies for living with deafness following a brain tumor, as well as explaining his choice to abandon the persona of Vic and embrace a tranquil life in Kent instead.

As a devoted admirer, I can share that the cherished entertainer and artist, famously recognized as Vic Reeves, opened up about his life-changing experience with a benign brain tumor during a recent conversation. This health challenge has resulted in him being completely deaf in one ear.

In 2021, it was discovered that Jim’s growth was unresectable, which unfortunately led him to limit his pastimes like enjoying music and bird-watching.

Jim, known for his fame alongside Bob Mortimer in the 90s, has shared insights into his day-to-day experiences with deafness.

Speaking to The Times about his new lifestyle, he shared that his mornings are dedicated to painting. He typically starts in his studio, located at the bottom of his garden, as early as 6 am, aiming to complete four hours of work by 10 am.

He mentioned that music helps him overcome the constant ringing in his ears, which is a symptom of a benign brain tumor diagnosed in 2021. Surprisingly, he adapted to complete deafness in one ear rather swiftly.

Jim then touched on how art has been his life, and that ‘comedy was a bit of a distraction.’

In a straightforward manner, he openly admitted that many assumed him to be Vic Reeves due to being known for portraying that character the most, but he simply grew tired of performing it.

I enjoy staying home and have been yearning to explore a new form of artistic expression. While bird prints continue to be my main source of income, I’ve also delved into creating bronze sculptures and painting numerous beetles.

He also described his 97-year-old mum as his role model.

Each morning, I rise quite early, head to my studio, create artwork, then take an afternoon stroll. I truly enjoy this routine more than anything else.

After stepping away from the limelight, he expressed that he enjoys staying active and admitted that his affinity for structure might stem from a compulsive tendency, yet he prefers maintaining a regular routine.

His most recent outing with Nancy occurred in September of the previous year, when they both went to the 2024 Sky Arts Awards held in London.

The pair celebrated 20 years of marriage in 2023.

The comedian honored the event by posting pictures of him and his wife, who is fifteen years younger, both sporting customized T-shirts that perfectly matched.

Vic and Nancy wore t-shirts adorned with their photos donning wigs and glasses, with the phrase “20 years” written below.

He captioned the snaps: ‘Happy anniversary to us. 20 years of love and happiness.’

Nancy replied: ‘Love you Bee.’
