Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez stuck in marital home turmoil as $60M mansion FAILS to sell

After a year of attempting to sell, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have decided to abandon their efforts to find a buyer for their matrimonial residence in Beverly Hills.

Together, we decided to mark our nearly year-long union by purchasing a marital home for an impressive $60.8 million in cash.

The next year saw their separation, with them placing their house on sale for $68M in July, as attempts to sell it privately didn’t succeed.

In an attempt to unload the property, they eventually reduced its price by a significant amount, specifically $8 million.

As reported by the source, the extensive property is no longer listed for sale, as confirmed by public records, according to People.

Last August, on the occasion of their second wedding anniversary, the actress who played The Kiss of the Spider Woman filed for divorce from her husband, Ben.

Ben shares Violet, 19; Fin, 16; and Samuel, 13, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, 53.

Meanwhile, Lopez shares fraternal twins Emme and Max, 17, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. 

A Zillow listing described the estate as ‘recently renovated with the highest level of quality.’

The highlighted features encompass a boxing arena, a sports-themed lounge, a well-stocked fitness center, basketball and pickleball courts, and a bar area.

There is also a 12-car garage, guest penthouse, caretaker house and a two-bedroom guardhouse.

Last month, a source privy to the information revealed to the Daily Mail that Ben and JLo have reduced the price of their Beverly Hills residence by a staggering $8 million compared to what they originally paid. However, this seemingly significant reduction doesn’t seem to faze Ben.

It was noted that he is eager for the sale because doing so will sever the last tie connecting him and Jennifer.

On the previous Sunday, Affleck was scouting potential bachelors’ homes in the nearby Brentwood area, which isn’t too far from Garner’s $7.8 million, four-bedroom mansion at Brentwood Park.

For about a year now, Affleck has owned a luxurious $20.5M five-bedroom house in Brentwood, which he purchased following his separation from his second wife, Jennifer.
