Neil Druckmann, one of the creators of the popular HBO series and the author behind the game it’s adapted from, declared on Wednesday his decision to leave the show prior to its upcoming third season.

Neil Druckmann announced on Naughty Dog’s Instagram that he is stepping back from his creative role in “The Last of Us” for HBO.
