Liam Gallagher completes renovations on his London mansion as Oasis star beefs up security at £4million home

As a devoted fan, I’ve taken extra measures to bolster the security around my £4 million North London residence, with the eagerly anticipated Oasis reunion tour just around the corner.

In the previous year, the musician submitted an application for planning permission to construct a swimming pool and a larger security perimeter at his estate.

Fresh photos reveal that a novel gate and wall have been put up at the house with five bedrooms, where Liam has resided for the past five years.

Back in 2020, I, the overjoyed fan, proudly claim that Liam Gallagher, the legendary Oasis frontman, purchased a charming mock Tudor residence alongside his beloved Debbie Gwyther. This step marked a new chapter in their lives as they bid farewell to their previous abode, a £2.1million terrace in Highgate. The change was reportedly instigated due to some disagreements with the neighbors.

The five-bedroom house boasting lush landscaped gardens and intricately crafted fireplaces was bought by Liam for approximately £4 million.

Over the past year, the star has been undergoing significant transformations to his property. Additionally, the 2024 planning application unveiled his intention to remove the party structure located in the backyard, replacing it with a summerhouse and arranging sun loungers near the swimming pool for a relaxing outdoor experience.

As a fervent admirer bursting with excitement, I’ve been granted the go-ahead for a thrilling transformation! The plan includes swapping out the old exterior doors, making internal modifications, and giving the place a fresh makeover, complete with a brand-new bar. Can’t wait to see the results!

The house boasts five bedrooms, a library and a huge back garden, perfect for entertaining in.

The building materials used for constructing the house are believed to have originated from a display home built for the British Empire Exhibition in 1924. Due to its historical importance, the local government added this property to their list of cultural and historical landmarks.

It is the first home the musician and Debbie, his former personal assistant, have bought together. 

The individual who previously owned it was KC Dinah Rose, a renowned human rights attorney, who had been nominated as the future president of Magdalen College, Oxford, during that period.

In a modest semi-detached house located in Burnage, Greater Manchester, Liam, along with his siblings Noel and Paul, grew up under the care of their single mother, Peggy.

Later, when he gained fame with Oasis in the mid-90s, he shifted to a penthouse in the upscale north London district of Muswell Hill. Later on, he moved again, settling in the adjacent area of Hampstead.

In the year 2014, the property was transferred to a new owner. Following this sale, Gallagher relocated to Highgate Village, which is just a stone’s throw away from his beloved pubs, namely The Prince of Wales and The Gatehouse.

During the nineties, Noel lived in a well-known residence called Supernova Heights, which served as the hub for the band’s boisterous gatherings and became quite famous for these events.

According to reports, Liam is said to have moved out from his previous residence, a high-end property worth about 2.1 million pounds located in Highgate, due to disagreements with the neighbors.

Instead of living up to the label of a boisterous vocalist, he insisted he hadn’t called the locals there “foolish,” yet it seemed that he was aiming for a calmer existence in his new residence.

Liam’s fiancee, Debbie, is known for motivating him to continue performing, which is crucial before their much-awaited band reunion tour.

For the past ten years, Debbie has been in a long-term relationship. This began in 2013, shortly after she started working as his personal assistant for the band’s management company, Quest.

Following their divorce in 2014, Liam and Nicole Appleton started dating. They took their relationship to the next level by getting engaged in 2019. This happened when Liam popped the question during a vacation in Italy’s beautiful Amalfi coast.

Liam, along with his brother Noel, reforms their band for a string of reunion shows taking place both in the United Kingdom and overseas this coming summer.

The recently published book, “A Sound So Very Loud,” unveils that Liam had been planning to relocate to Majorca for retirement and abandon his musical career. However, Debbie’s intervention altered his decision.

The book was penned by journalists Ted Kessler and Hamish MacBain, who recount the tale of how Ted encountered Liam back in a London pub in 2016, only two years following the breakup of his band, Beady Eye.

In a passage from the book, as reported by The Mirror, Ted penned that ‘over beers at the local tavern, Liam elaborated about his experiences over the last two years. He had been in a state of descent, figuratively speaking.’

He found himself so far from his initial situation that he briefly pondered leaving everything behind and relocating to sunny Majorca, adopting a lifestyle reminiscent of the one portrayed in ‘Sexy Beast’.

Additionally, Debbie emphasized to him that he was undeniably one of the top rock ‘n’ roll performers of his time, at just 43 years old, he still had plenty of performance years ahead.

As per the book, Liam went on to describe that she simply instructed him to cease acting foolishly. Not only did she help him leave the house, but she also introduced him to a fresh circle of individuals beyond his usual sphere and encouraged him to engage in novel activities.

In the meantime, Oasis has made it to Cardiff, preparing for the kickoff of their highly awaited reunion tour. There was a sudden adjustment to the original schedule.

For the first time in 15 years, the renowned Britpop group is set to perform stadium concerts across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, and various regions of North, Central, and South America. The tour will culminate with a show at São Paulo’s Estádio do Morumbi on November 23.
