Over the past weekend, Pia and her affluent spouse enjoyed a series of festivities in Mexico, all the while Jeff Bezos and his former wife, Lauren Sanchez, were getting married in Italy.

As a devoted admirer, I had the privilege of witnessing the union of a renowned American journalist, aged 55, and the visionary behind Amazon, at the ripe age of 61. This momentous occasion was celebrated over a grand, three-day event, held in the picturesque landscapes of Italy, across the ocean.

Six years ago, the news broke about the secret relationship between Lauren and Jeff, which was uncovered and ultimately led to the dissolution of two marriages: Lauren with her husband Patrick, and Jeff with MacKenzie Scott.

On a beautiful island called San Giorgio Maggiore, Jeff and Lauren got married in an extravagant ceremony on a Friday, with around 200 prestigious attendees witnessing their heartfelt vows.
