According to a new book, it’s no secret that Clint Eastwood has often been open about his inclination towards extramarital relationships.

63-year-old author Shawn Levy delved anew into the extramarital relationships of the 95-year-old filmmaker and actor, a topic covered in his book “Clint: The Man and The Movies.” It is important to note that this Shawn Levy is different from the 56-year-old director who has worked with Ryan Reynolds on Deadpool and Wolverine.

I had the privilege of conversing with Mr. Levy for his book, delving into my past romantic endeavors over the years. I believed, or perhaps hoped, that my partners were aware that indiscretions were an inevitable part of being involved with a consistent high-profile figure in the ever-evolving world of Hollywood.

In the notable romantic relationships that Clint Eastwood has been part of, we find his marriages spanning different periods: he was married to Maggie Johnson from 1973 until 1979; and his union with Dina Ruiz lasted from 1996 up until 2013.

This renowned director, known for movies like Million Dollar Baby, Mystic River, and Unforgiven, has had long-term connections with several actresses, including the late Sondra Locke and Titanic co-star Frances Fisher, whom he maintains a friendly relationship with to this day.

In the book, Levy mentioned that according to various sources, including Eastwood himself, he generally acted like a single man.

Johnson was in the know about Eastwood’s serial cheating., the book stated.

Eastwood clarified: ‘Mag discovered that I would follow my own path. She needed to understand and agree with this, for our marriage to work, because otherwise, it wouldn’t have happened.’

In the 1997 book “Clint Eastwood: A Biography” by Richard Schickel, it’s mentioned that the actor likened giving up cheating to giving up smoking.

It ‘just became… I don’t know… addictive… like you have to have another cigarette,’ he said.

Eastwood was romantically involved with Christina Sandera from 2014, but she sadly passed away at the age of 61 last July.

Eastwood’s latest release, titled “Juror #2”, a gripping legal drama, hit cinemas in November last year and raked in approximately $24 million worldwide, as reported by Box Office Mojo.
