Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell will NOT be attending Mel B’s star-studded wedding to Rory McPhee – and sources have revealed why they’re missing Scary Spice’s big day

On Saturday, neither Victoria Beckham nor Geri Halliwell is expected to be present at Melanie Brown’s wedding, according to our latest information.

This weekend, Scary Spice’s wedding at St. Paul’s Cathedral is expected to be filled with celebrities, but both the fashion designer and Geri are not included on the guest list, as they won’t be attending her nuptials with fiancé Rory McPhee.

It’s also been speculated that another band member, possibly Emma Bunton or Melanie Chisholm, might not be attending as well.

Reports indicate that Victoria, who is 51 years old, won’t be in the country. One source explained that Victoria has prearranged commitments overseas which prevent her from being here.

As a devoted admirer, I deeply appreciate Mel. Our connections sparkle remarkably well, even though our life trajectories seem to diverge. Truly, it’s an unfortunate circumstance.

‘There is no issue between them, they haven’t fallen out. It’s just one of those things.’

Regarding Geri, her connection with Mel is stormy at times, and they’ve found it challenging to coexist peacefully, often experiencing tension when in the same space.

The two ladies clashed following Mel B’s disclosure of a past romantic involvement with Geri during the Spice Girls’ early days, which she discussed during her interview on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories talk show.

In 2019, Geri was greatly distressed by a surprising disclosure that Mel seems to have never offered an apology for.

Sources also say that Geri’s husband Christian Horner was ‘mortified’ about Mel’s claims.

Neither Victoria nor Geri missed out on attending Mel’s 50th birthday celebration in Leeds last May. Only Emma and Melanie C were present at the event.

Mel is getting married for the third time, having previously tied the knot with Dutch backing dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998.

For her big day, Mel wore a Vegas showgirl-style feathered headdress with a white and gold dress.

In 2007, I couldn’t believe my eyes when she secretly tied the knot with Stephen Belafonte in a rush wedding in Las Vegas. The next year, we all got another chance to celebrate their love again as they held a beautiful vow renewal ceremony in Egypt. What an unforgettable journey!

In 2016, Mel and Stephen parted ways after she alleged instances of emotional and physical abuse against him, a claim he’s consistently refuted.

His lawyers said that during the marriage they spent her £50million fortune.

Mel grew close to Rory after the breakdown of her marriage to Stephen. 

Previously, she mentioned that he is a close acquaintance within our family circle and an exceptional hairstylist. During my recent visit to England, he would often drop by to provide me with hair care treatments.

As he gently tended to my hair, it seemed like he was also cultivating my faith and confidence in our bond.

Due to the OBE (Officer of the British Empire) she received in 2022 for her outstanding contributions to charitable efforts and support for vulnerable women, including Women’s Aid, she is eligible to wed him at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Mel B marked the anticipation of her wedding by hosting a lively hen party in the sunny locale of Tunisia. The event was characterized by leopard-pattern swimsuits, a carefully coordinated dance performance, and a peaceful gathering referred to as a ‘Zen party’.

Her daughter Phoenix along with thirty-five others participated in the celebrations, featuring an extravagant feast and dance performances near the sea.

The hen party also included a leopard print themed night, as well as a belly dancing class.
