Jelena Dokic goes bridal dress shopping as she teases ‘something very special’ is happening – after she was seen cuddling mystery man

On Monday, Jelena Dokic sparked conversations by paying a visit to a bridal shop in Melbourne and suggesting that something extraordinary is imminent.

Australia’s 42-year-old tennis champion, who was recently seen affectionately with an unidentified individual at Melbourne Airport, posted pictures of various wedding gowns on her Instagram account.

A picture displayed an arrangement of promotional pictures on a table, featuring a woman showcasing various white wedding dresses from the high-end bridal store Alin Le’ Kal.

Jelena hints at something extraordinary approaching, related to Alin Le’ Kal, as she describes it as absolutely amazing!

Next, she uploaded another picture that displayed a collection of wedding dresses neatly hung in the bridal shop located in Melbourne.

Lastly, Jelena uploaded a video as she panned the camera to show the entire bridal store.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Jelena’s representatives for comment. 

It comes after the sports commentator was spotted with a mystery man at Melbourne Airport in May. 

Although no official confirmation exists about a romantic connection, Jelena seemed cheerful alongside a well-dressed man as they both left the terminal, flashing broad grins.

They had an animated conversation and could be seen hugging at one point.

Based on reports from Woman’s Day, it was mentioned that the man picked up Jelena from the airport.

In the latter part of 2020, I found myself taking a step back from the pursuit of romantic relationships, following my separation from my long-term partner, Tin Bikic. This decision was driven by an internal need for introspection and rejuvenation.

For approximately 19 years, the pair had been a couple until they declared in 2021 that they had separated from each other.

Even though she’s kept her guard up all this time, I couldn’t help but share my soul-bearing confession that I fear spending the remainder of my days solitary and lonely on Instagram.

In my world, things have been a rollercoaster ride lately. A topic seldom discussed yet deeply felt – the turmoil of a relationship dissolving, it’s incredibly hard to navigate through. That’s me today, sharing a glimpse of my journey with you all.

If you’ve found yourself wounded or deserted, let’s face it, such experiences can feel like a devastating blow to one’s life. As time passes and we grow older, the challenges become even harder, leaving us with deeper scars, more intense pain, and renewed heartache.

‘Four years have passed since my 19-year long relationship came to an end. Although the bond between us remains significant due to our shared history dating back to when we were both 20, that part of our lives has now concluded.’

Jelena explained that she has a deep-rooted tendency to love one individual with an all-encompassing, unconditional love that often lands her in tricky situations.

She lamented, “It became grief and anguish for me.” Four years ago, she built barriers and swore that they would remain standing forever.

However, life often has a way of proving that not all our plans or thoughts come to fruition. Consequently, those walls were torn down, and I was injured severely as a result.

In other words, should we continue to maintain barriers and wait for love to find us, or should we refrain from taking any chances with love and keep our defenses up?

In my personal journey, I’ve encountered individuals who may arrive at varying conclusions. For four long years, I’ve found myself isolated and introspective, and yet, the elusive answer continues to allude me.

The Australian tennis commentator shared that her past has left her with deep feelings of being abandoned, causing her to worry that she might always be alone.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d say that I’ve often shared my own experiences, and one of them is about the challenging relationship I had with my father, who was also my tennis coach. The hardships I endured under his guidance were substantial, much like Jelena’s story.

In an open and sincere manner, I’ve found myself asking, “Could it be that I’m the only one who fears spending the remainder of my life on my own?” This question, I humbly pose to you, my loyal followers.

In her extended letter, Jelena expressed that tearing down walls unexpectedly unearthed emotions and responses she hadn’t experienced before, leaving her uncertain about how to respond or proceed.

Essentially, the situation is challenging. Should we retreat completely or risk getting hurt and potentially experience deep love once more?

The gist is it’s tough; what now? Do we isolate ourselves permanently or endure pain to possibly find that extraordinary and wild love again?

Jelena ended her searching questions by saying she had come down on the side of hope and openness.
