Oasis kick off rehearsals in Cardiff ahead of the first gig of their hotly-anticipated reunion tour after last-minute change
Oasis has made their way to Cardiff before their much-awaited comeback tour’s opening performance, following a sudden adjustment to the initial schedule.
On this coming Friday, brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher are scheduled to perform together at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. This marks the first time they will share a stage in a concert after a gap of 15 years.
Known as a British rock sensation, they plan to give concerts in stadiums throughout the UK, Ireland, Japan, South Korea, and North, Central, and South America. The tour will end with a performance at São Paulo’s Estádio do Morumbi on November 23.
On Monday, it was widely believed among fans that the duo had already made their way to Wales for a pre-concert rehearsal at the stadium, as music emanating from within suggested so.
Additionally, it’s been disclosed that the brothers have brought in some new members for the tour, including drummer Joey Waronker, as well as guitarists Andy Bell, Gem Archer, and Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs.
According to a source, the band is planning some surprises for their debut performance with the revamped lineup. They intend to perform certain songs within the venue itself, making it an unforgettable event.

As an ardent admirer, I’m thrilled to share that unlike some performances which might begin with a low-key show or require a couple of weeks to find their rhythm again, this isn’t the case for Liam and Noel. Time is precious, and they aim for every night to be monumental. The energy, passion, and sheer brilliance they bring to the stage will undoubtedly leave us all in awe!
This upcoming performance promises to be a massive return to the stage, and it seems they’re treating it with great care. All signs suggest that this will be an extraordinary comeback tour.
Ever since I caught wind of the Gallagher brothers warming up for their concert in Wales, I couldn’t help but jump on social media to share my excitement and join the conversation with fellow fans!
A supporter posted a video commenting: “Hi, it’s Monday, but our concert is coming up this weekend. You might be able to catch the soundcheck going on right now in the background.
It’s hard to tell, but the tune definitely has an Oasis vibe. Earlier, I only heard instruments playing, but now I can hear vocals, which suggests that they have arrived in Cardiff. That’s quite unusual as it seems like a soundcheck is happening earlier than expected.
Simultaneously as they shared other videos, people commented: “Listening to Oasis’ soundcheck in Cardiff right now, Liam Gallagher sounds divine.
@liamgallager and @oasis are cranking up the volume on the Principality Stadium speakers in Cardiff right now, and it’s incredibly loud!
‘Oasis soundcheck Cardiff sounds wicked,’; ‘Oasis sound checking in Cardiff ohhhh my god.’

The team members of Oasis might have felt resentment when looking back on Sunday, following Liam’s critical remarks about them on social platforms.
Liam, who is 52 years old, potentially irritated the hardworking crew arranging Live ’25, the band’s initial tour since their 2009 disintegration, by suggesting that their relatives will feel a sense of relief when the band departs for the summer.
Speaking with X, he jokingly remarked, “Our team members seem to lack friends and their spouses are often relieved when we’re apart. They can’t believe we endure them daily, let alone travel around the world together. Just thought I’d share that little tidbit.” [sic]
It seemed like the performer was addressing allegations that Oasis staff were not given complimentary tickets for their friends and relatives, which is often seen as a benefit associated with the role.
According to a source, the crew is going to accompany the band across the country, preparing the stages for performances, and they will be available during the shows if their services are required, as reported by Katie Hind from The Daily Mail.
While they’re off traveling, they often provide tickets for their loved ones to attend the performances with them.
However, contrary to expectation, the Gallagher brothers have forbidden any complimentary tickets from being distributed. The team is incredibly frustrated, as they’ve previously worked with prominent artists and haven’t encountered such restrictions before.

It appears that Oasis primarily focuses on earning maximum profits. One might wonder if their audience is the priority, or if their primary concern is financial gain instead?
The band recently confirmed a limited number of extra tickets will be released ahead of July.
On their official website on Wednesday, the band posted an announcement saying: ‘With the shows approaching, we might have a small amount of extra tickets available for purchase once all final adjustments such as checking sightlines and fine-tuning the production have been made.’
‘These final production releases will happen over the coming days.’
As a die-hard fan, I eagerly anticipated the announcement of my favorite band’s reunion shows. With unbridled excitement, I joined countless others in virtual queues, ready to secure tickets for what promised to be an unforgettable experience. However, when the moment came to finalize my purchase, I was shocked to discover that prices had skyrocketed under some sort of ‘dynamic pricing’ scheme, leaving many fans like myself grappling with steep costs and feeling disheartened.
