Fan makes ‘shocking’ discovery on Lorde’s new X-ray album cover: ‘I hope she gets some more fibre’
Fans were taken aback when Lorde unveiled an X-ray of a pelvis as the cover art for her new album, and now, a spectator has unearthed a surprising detail within that image.
On Friday, a TikTok user known as Aran posted a video, asserting himself as a ‘certified radiologist’ and alleging that he discovered something troubling within an X-ray image.
As a devoted admirer, I’m relaying Aran’s observations about an image displaying the interior of a singer’s pelvic region. The picture, featuring an intrauterine device, also exhibits a certain ‘haze’ or ‘fogginess’, a sign he suggests could indicate constipation.
Greetings all, I’m a licensed radiologist specializing in imaging, and I’ve spotted an intriguing detail on the cover art of Lorde’s ‘Pure Heroine’ album that seems to have gone unnoticed by others. Let me share it with you!
‘So this cloudiness here is actually from faeces.’

In general, an X-ray may display such a high degree of cloudiness, but this is typically observed in individuals who are severely constipated or have significant blockages in their digestive system.
Certainly, “Indeed, it may not be an immediate medical crisis, but I can easily empathize with the discomfort you must be experiencing.
They expressed their wish for Lorde’s album release day to be fantastic, but also hoped that she would incorporate more fiber into her daily meals.
Although it’s uncertain if Aran holds the title of ‘certified radiologist’, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the sole person suggesting that Lorde’s X-ray appears to show feces in her intestines.
I, as a committed devotee, shared my findings on platform X, disclosing that my friend, believed to be a nurse, inspected the album artwork and affirmed the white figure depicted was indeed fecal matter.
‘She said those white splotches to the left her of tail bone was s***,’ the fan wrote.
Later, they showed a snapshot of a text conversation where it said, ‘The thing on the left that looks like a white mass is feces.’
Following the popular artist, aged 28, astonishing fans with an unexpected show at Glastonbury on Friday, she stripped off her shirt in the scorching weather during the performance.

A multitude of fans made their way towards the Woodsies stage, drawn by whispers that the famous singer-songwriter of the Royals was planning a performance at Worthy Farm.
The level of enthusiasm was so high that managers had to momentarily shut down the stage because it was too crowded, just before her performance started.
Last year’s performer on The Pyramid stage delivered a set list that included her most popular songs like “Ribs” and “Green Light,” plus a live interpretation of her latest album.
On the very same day, the show premiered, leaving her fans speechless as she revealed the provocative cover art for her latest vinyl record.
The artist had previously caught people’s attention with the primary artwork for the project, depicting an X-ray image of her hip area.
Alternatively, the vinyl edition of Lorde’s latest fourth studio album, released by Virgin Records following Solar Power (2021), contains more explicit content, including what seems to be depictions of genitalia covered in plastic pants.
Some fans, alarmed, turned to social media to voice their concerns about their relatives accidentally coming across the explicit cover art.
They shared on X: ‘So the new Lorde vinyl just got delivered. I was not prepared for the insert.’

Another said: ‘Lorde really got her cat out like that on her vinyl huh?’
One more wrote: ‘My Lorde vinyl is getting delivered to my parent’s house I’m scared [sic].’
On the other hand, some people didn’t find fault with the vinyl’s design and instead praised it as ‘beautiful’, arguing that it wasn’t at all shocking.
‘Many people seem unusually concerned about Lorde’s vinyl album cover… frankly, it doesn’t matter if she’s showing some skin. It’s just a representation of her body.’
Some people found the response to the vinyl surprisingly mild, as they had anticipated it to contain more explicit content.
One person commented, “I honestly expected the Lorde vinyl insert to be much more disappointing than everyone seems to think, but I have to admit, you all might be overreacting a bit.
Lorde is one of the highest-selling New Zealand singers of all time.
Her 2013 song Royals reached number one in America, eventually being certified 14 times platinum.
