Glastonbury fans vent their fury as Grammy winner’s performance is ‘missing’ from BBC iPlayer

Fans of Doechii expressed their anger when they couldn’t find her Glastonbury performance on BBC iPlayer on Monday.

On Sunday, the Grammy-winning vocalist performed on the West Holts stage at Worthy Farm; yet, even 24 hours later, her performance wasn’t accessible on the BBC streaming platform, causing worry among her fans.

You can catch the captivating 45-minute set from Doechii, showcasing her talents in singing, dancing, and rapping, over on BBC Sounds.

Immediately following their performances at the event, sets by artists such as The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo, Alanis Morissette, Rod Stewart, and Charli XCX were promptly added to iPlayer.

Viewers have expressed frustration after trying to watch the event online, and they’ve turned to X (previously known as Twitter) to vent their dissatisfaction towards the BBC, questioning whether there’s an explanation for its absence from the broadcast.

They wrote: “Why wasn’t Doechii’s performance on BBC’s iPlayer site? I couldn’t find it after missing her set, and I was hoping to rewatch it.

‘@bbcglasto Where is Doechii’s set on iplayer???’;

It seems odd, but I can’t find Doechii’s Glastonbury performance on iPlayer yet. Interestingly, Charli XCX’s set from the same time is available though.

‘Has Doechii’s performance not been uploaded to BBC iPlayer yet? I can’t seem to find it there.’ or ‘I can’t locate Doechii’s performance on BBC iPlayer, is it not available there?’

‘Why isn’t Doechii’s set on iPlayer?’;

Last month, Doechii made her iconic Met Gala debut as she arrived in a large white box. 

Speculation ran high among spectators and shutterbugs as a covered container was rolled from The Mark Hotel onto the crimson carpet, accompanied by multiple individuals shielding it with umbrellas.

Later, the American rapper made a striking entrance dressed in a daring Louis Vuitton ensemble, occasionally puffing on a cigar as photographers captured the moment.

Displaying an unmatched elegance, Doechii donned a white jacket embellished with the iconic Louis Vuitton logo and paired it with stylish checkered Bermuda shorts.

She teamed the look with burgundy loafers, knee-high socks and a silk scarf tied in a bow.

Her appearance was enhanced by Tiffany & Co. jewelry, and she sported a Louis Vuitton logo on her cheek as the final touch.

Known as the Eastern equivalent of the Oscars, the Met Gala brings together many prominent celebrities each year at the renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art for a charitable gathering.
