Sean Walsh reveals his phone was stolen ‘straight from his hand’ in London just days after a Strictly star was mugged
Seann Walsh disclosed that his phone got snatched directly out of his hand in London, not long after another Strictly celebrity had been robbed.
The comic, aged 39, stated that someone stole his device approximately a week prior, and as per Find My iPhone, it is currently located in China.
29-year-old professional dancer Michelle Tsiakkas found herself a victim of daylight robbery in London this week, leaving her feeling frightened and powerless.
After his recent incident, Seann posted a screenshot from his phone’s location service on Instagram Stories yesterday, stating: ‘My phone was taken from me (indeed, snatched right out of my hand, and I reside in London) about a week back. Remarkably, it is now in China if anyone happens to be traveling there.’
A supporter responded to Seann, expressing interest in him penning a book about his life experiences.
They suggested: “Please, write a book detailing all the unusual events in your life with the title ‘Only Happens to Me.’ I apologize for your phone issue but I believe your experiences would make for an interesting read.

Seann mentioned: “Should any publishers be listening, I’m receptive to the idea, but be warned, it’s going to be quite extensive. I’ve titled it ‘Typical’.
In the heart of London’s bustling West End, I’ve become increasingly alarmed by the staggering number of daily mobile phone thefts – a whopping 37 people every single day! As an ardent fan of this vibrant city, it’s hard not to feel a pang of concern when my favorite spot turns into a hotbed for such incidents.
Over the past four years, it’s been found that approximately 231,000 incidents of phone theft or robbery have occurred in the capital city, marking a staggering tripling in numbers compared to previous records.
The heart of these bold crimes lies in the global hub for theater, the West End – a popular tourist destination. Over the same timeframe, approximately 40,000 mobile phones were reported missing to the Metropolitan Police.
Meanwhile, Michelle, a professional dancer, was en route to the dentist quite early one morning when someone stole her cellphone.
In her video, Michelle shared: “It’s been a few days now, and I think I’m finally starting to get over it. That day was really distressing.
Spending my entire day on it left me feeling terrible, afraid, powerless, and I sincerely hope that such an experience doesn’t befall you.

She clarified: ‘Someone took my cell phone. It’s something I often witness, yet I never imagine it would happen to me. But, alas, it did.’
Michelle, who has been with Strictly for three years, mentioned that a cyclist snatched her phone from her in Covent Garden.
Early in the day, I found myself traversing the cobblestone paths of London, en route to my dentist appointment nestled within the tranquil heart of Covent Garden. The city was still asleep at this hour, making it a peaceful and serene walk amidst the quiet, half-awake streets.
In that moment, I seemed to be the sole individual nearby, which might explain why I found myself as an apparent easy target. To clarify my location, I swiftly pulled out my phone and checked the directions to locate my dentist’s office.
While I was standing on the real street where the dentist’s office is located, suddenly a man riding a bicycle approached from behind me, whizzed past quickly, and snatched my phone from me.
He took my phone, and he was riding an electric bike. My heart dropped at that moment. In my attempt to retrieve it, I ended up falling to my knees on the ground and scraping my knee.
I instinctively reacted by swearing and demanding the return of my phone, but I see now that approach wasn’t effective, as you were already aware.
‘He dashed off without a moment’s notice, wearing a mask to conceal his identity. Given his speed on that electric bike, I had no chance to follow or recognize him.’
I’m glad to say that on that occasion, there were two kind and assisting ladies present. They noticed that I seemed upset.
