Brit DJ surprises Glastonbury crowd as he performs exclusive secret set with his son after playing his 100th show at the festival

Over the weekend, a well-liked English disc jockey put on a hidden performance alongside his son for a small, private audience at Glastonbury.

Over the weekend, I was fortunate enough to witness the legendary Fatboy Slim play his 100th set at an unforgettable festival. In an electrifying B2B performance, he delighted us with a lively and energetic spectacle that will undoubtedly be etched in our memories for years to come.

Just coming off the high of Fatboy Slim’s 100th set at an amazing festival this past weekend, I can confidently say it was a truly unforgettable experience. The man himself put on an exhilarating B2B performance that left us all in awe and eager for more.

The music legend, 61 – whose real name Norman Cook – was joined by his son Woody, 24.

A video posted on Instagram by the BBC Radio team, showed an elderly father grooving to the music behind the DJ booth, as Woody playfully jumped around on a stage.

The popular internet personality, whom both the singer and Zoe Ball jointly possess, enthusiastically waved his arms and smiled at the boisterous audience.

As the renowned British DJ reached an extraordinary landmark by spinning his 100th set at Glastonbury, he continued to astound audiences with his music.

At the Luna stage, the electronic artist put on a lively performance, raising his arms above his head to excite the crowd.

The electronic act delivered a pumped-up set at the Luna stage, gesturing towards the sky with outstretched arms to rally the crowd.

Earlier in May, Woody insisted he has ‘sweated his way through the industry’.

He mentioned that although he chose a career path similar to his renowned parents by becoming a DJ, he made sure to put in the effort himself instead of overly depending on them.

In a conversation with a new magazine, he shared: “Initially, I did experience pressure, but my parents were exceptional in encouraging my independence and allowing me to take charge.

‘I’ve sweated my way through the industry, I think people started to see that.’

While the term ‘nepo baby’ has been used, Woody himself isn’t troubled by it. Instead, he attributes his achievements to the backing he received from his parents, rather than their professions.

He shared that he values greatly the influence of his parents, as they provided him with an exceptional education that significantly shaped who he is today.

‘These individuals have been incredibly selfless, caring, compassionate, and diligent, and their impact on me has been profound. I can’t help but feel deeply grateful for the positive influence they’ve had in my life.’

Previously, Woody made it clear that he doesn’t concern himself with other people’s opinions regarding him or his familial connections.

He shared with Bang Showbiz that during his school years, he experienced bullying and teasing. Occasionally, even at social gatherings, people would mock him by saying, “Keep quiet, the son of Fatboy.

‘It’s opened up more doors, people always remember me.

I have a diverse range of interests, which some might find unusual. Despite this, I carry my parents’ genetic makeup. Ultimately, I’m bound to retain certain traits similar to theirs.

‘Genetically I’m mildly similar but it’s not my job to care.

I provide music that resonates deeply with my fans, and they are incredibly passionate about it. The power of my music is self-explanatory, and I don’t feel the need to demonstrate its worth to anyone else.
