Justin Baldoni puts Blake Lively legal feud on pause to awkwardly mingle with fans at Disneyland

Justin Baldoni was spotted at Disneyland’s California Adventure over the weekend.

He caught one fan named Carmen filming him and approached her to say hello.

The It Ends With Us star, screenwriter and director was affable when he interacted with his fans.

Multiple enthusiastic followers posted their clips on TikTok, and while Carmen was thrilled to encounter the actress from Jane the Virgin (aged 41), she felt a sense of disappointment as more people started approaching her.

Another TikTok video showed Baldoni walking through the amusement park with a Star Wars t-shirt on.

Onlookers were particularly observant in noticing the actor, whose hair was slightly long and unkempt, he wore a full beard, and donned aviator-style sunglasses.

The Disneyland sighting comes as Baldoni is still embroiled in a legal battle with Blake Lively.

Earlier this month, a judge threw out the lawsuit that Baldoni had filed against the 37-year-old actress, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist. However, Baldoni was given the chance to revise certain issues within the lawsuit before refiling it.

On Tuesday, my lawyer, Bryan Freedman, shared that I won’t be making any changes to the claims in the dismissed lawsuit. Instead, we are moving forward with our original arguments.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, Freedman clarified that the court’s decision to allow the motion to dismiss has absolutely no bearing on the fact that there was neither harassment nor a smear campaign, and it does not impact our ongoing strong defense against Ms. Lively’s allegations in any way.

In my role as a lifestyle advisor, I want to assure you all that progress is being made and I am optimistic about our ability to overcome these unfounded allegations. Rather than modifying our current stance, we are exploring other legal avenues that are at our disposal for a stronger defense.

Regardless of the initial dismissal of Baldoni’s lawsuit against her, Lively continues to persist with her legal action, and she has issued a batch of fresh subpoenas more recently.

A representative from Lively additionally commented on the report about Baldoni withdrawing his unsuccessful countersuit case, speaking to DailyMail.com.

The court chose to discard entirely the unfounded $400 million lawsuit filed by Baldoni-Wayfarer, as stated.

After the subsequent days, Baldoni’s legal representative stated that the judge’s action of discarding their case was relatively insignificant, as they pledged to correct and resubmit it again.

In the typical fashion, what she said was false. To clarify, the court’s rejection of Baldoni’s baseless lawsuit was indeed a complete triumph for us.

Two weeks ago, Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed the lawsuit filed by Baldoni, but he gave the Jane The Virgin star another chance to make corrections in the lawsuit by June 23rd.

Instead, the judge decided that he was allowed to modify the accusations pertaining solely to the charges of tortious interference with contracts and breach of an implied promise.

In a comprehensive 132-page ruling, the court explained why the claims made in Baldoni’s lawsuit lacked substance, dismissing, among other things, allegations of civil extortion leveled against Lively, her husband, and their publicist Leslie Sloane.

In this scenario, it is not possible for the Wayfarer Parties to claim compensation regarding Lively’s suspected actions that led to her taking control of the film away from Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties.

The judge stated that, regardless of whether these actions were appropriate or not, they are not considered as civil extortion according to the laws of California.

California courts acknowledge that a case for civil extortion can be made when a plaintiff forces a defendant to hand over money or assets, using threats, and later demands its return.

In other words, the Wayfarer Parties haven’t provided enough evidence to suggest that Lively’s threats were extortion instead of legitimate negotiations or adjustments in work terms.

From my perspective as a lifestyle advisor, I must clarify that the accusations against Lively regarding questionable actions, specifically extortion, have not been substantiated to demonstrate any harm inflicted upon the Wayfarer Parties.

In summarizing the extortion case, the judge stated that Lively, Sloane, and Reynolds had a stronger argument.

In the ruling, the judge declined the requests made by Reynolds, Sloane, and Vision PR for compensation that includes legal fees and expenses. Moreover, the judge also turned down Lively’s request for attorney’s fees, triple damages, and punitive damages.

The above motions were denied without prejudice in accordance with the ruling.

Wayfarer Studios was founded by Baldoni and billionaire businessman Steve Sarowitz in 2019.
