2021 saw Nike unveil the Pegasus Premium, the most sophisticated addition yet to their running shoe line. The shoe boasts a mix of ZoomX and ReactX technologies, ensuring a plush cushioning with every step taken. Since then, numerous color options have been released, including a design inspired by Forrest Gump’s running shoes and a “Black/Metallic Silver” variant, now reimagined in a gray tone.
The initial part of the Nike Pegasus Premium sports a lightweight gray upper, adorned with multiple accents of metallic silver, particularly on the three Swooshes and the “AIR” branding on the medial side. As mentioned earlier, it’s the sole that makes the Pegasus Premium stand out. The sole, featuring ZoomX and ReactX technology, is predominantly off-white, with subtle blue tones peeking through the transparent midsole window.
Currently, there is no announcement from Nike about when the “Metallic Silver” version of the Pegasus Premium will become available for purchase. Keep an eye out for future updates, as we anticipate its arrival on store shelves this summer. It will be sold by both Nike and select retailers, with a starting price of $220 USD in women’s sizes.
